I had the luck that there was some free place when I arrived in the morning at 7am. So first thing. There is a 24/7 stuff...

Clean, safe, great location, warm and inviting patio, friendly and enthusiastic staff, decent breakfast, eclectic group of guests who span the age spectrum. Overall it is an excellent place to stay while in Asuncion.

Would recommend it to anyone travelling to Asuncion. Good location - 20 minute walk to the main city centre and in the middle of a nice, residential neighbourhood. Good breakfast, lovely, helpful staff, clean facilities, comfy beds and a fantastic, relaxing garden/pool area. A brilliant choice which represents exceptional value for money.

Everything I could have wished for and more. Clean rooms, hot showers, good wifi, reasonable breakfast and a nicely planned out hostel with a lot of space and different rooms for various recreational activities, clean pool, kitchen suitable to cook proper food in, and priced at $10 per night definitely worth the slightly higher end rate without a doubt. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is amazing, with pancakes and juice! We had good fun at the ping pong table too. The shower was good and the room was fine. Would definitely recommend staying here!

The staff is amazing, the location is convenient and the wi-fi is fast. The ambiance is also pleasant. There's hot water and the bathroom is cleaned everyday. There is an AC unit inn the private rooms (not sure about the dorms). The free breakfast is basic.

A really relaxed hostel where there is the loads of space to relax inside and out. We stayed off season but there was still people about. The double room was huge and had heating for the cold nights. Staff were helpful and made a varying breakfast. El Nomada made Asuncion for us!

We booked 2 nights here and ended up extending to 3 (seems to be a common thing!). There isn't a lot to do in Asuncion but the hostel is so good it is a reason in itself to stay longer! We had a great time - it has got the balance perfectly between being sociable but not a party place....

“Private rooms with bathroom en-suite are nicer”
KunbiA, 13 Aug 2016 | Read review
“We stayed in a private double room and it was sublime. We felt like it was a hotel room and at a great price. A week earlier we were paying the same price to stay in some crappy dorms in Buenos Aires, and here we were staying at a spacious private room for the same price. The dorms are nice too, but the private was great and at a very good price so if you can afford to treat yourself, it's very worth it!”
