The hotel is on a busy street and construction noise. My room decor was like motels back in the sixties, minimal. Breakfast staff were nice and helpful but simple food. I was going to give this place a two star but the WiFi in room was good and a refrigerator was a blessing. Thanks to Oscar who provided me lots... More

Good value for money - we had a double private ensuite room - quiet rooms although the AC was so so loud and it was so hot in the rooms it had to be constantly on. The hotel has a small (and very busy) pool that wasn't clean at all (stay clear). Breaky included. Location was good for walking into... More

The hotel is conveniently located with basic rooms and a restaurant that offers a dinner buffet and breakfast. It is decently priced and a great place to stay for a cheaper night in Asuncion. If arriving by taxi, make sure your driver knows you are going to Palmas del Sol and not Portal del Sol (a completely different hotel).

I stayed here for a while whilst getting my truck fixed in Asuncion and for the price it was absolutely amazing value. The room was very nice and clean, the staff very friendly and one of the best breakfasts I have had at any hotel in South America. Also free secure parking, decent working wifi and its in a very... This hotel is conveniently located in Asuncion. The rooms are basic but very clean. Wifi is good throughout. The breakfast is excellent and the minibar is cheap. Dry cleaning is returned within a few hours. I would recommend this hotel without any question because the staff are so helpful, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Fantastic! (And unlike some... More

Excellent value - and breakfast was among the best I had during two months in Southern South America staying at hotels in this price range. Good a/c, fridge in the room and very cheap minibar. Absolutely spotless, clean room. Nice, hot water in bath room with plenty of pressure. Friendly and helpful staff in reception. Very lush and green patio.... More

I was there a few month ago The quality of the Rooms and Service are really bad!!! The air condition was so loud, I could sleep with AC on. At the morning when I would leave the Hotel, there was nobody at the Attention to pay! I had to wait more than a hour to pay this Hotel. I'll never... More

I stayed here by myself for two weeks while doing a scouting mission on Asuncion. Its location being right next to the downtown made it easy to see many sites during the day, and to visit many of the nearby restaurants. My room was very tidy, and quaint. Since I was staying for a long period of time, I opted... More

Our guide In Paraguay booked us in to this hotel and we were pleasantly suprused with the presentation on arrival. All amenities were clean and most importantly all worked and the staff were polite and helpfull. Would stay there again when in Ascunceon.

Not bad. Enough for the price. Best average-hotel in Asunción's downtown, since every other is terrible quality or already too expensive. Not much aroun in downtown at night or weekends, so recommended if you MUST stick around downtown.
