After a hot game of squash we ducked into the Wellness Lodge for the healthiest food around. Beef and cucumber salad, fresh kulau and my fella declared the Club Sandwich "very, very good". And I just love the space with a tropical, chilled out vibe. All it needs is some reggae toons!

The staff are excellent here and the location is very good, being a few minutes away from Boroko Centre. There are two levels of accommodation - standard and deluxe. Don't even think of the standard - but the deluxe is fine. I found transfers - even early in the morning (ca. 4:00 AM) - worked flawlessly, and free wi-fi is...

Wonderful rooms. Just what I was hoping for. A place to relax in at the end of the day. I was only there one night and it is always a lottery if you haven't stayed there before however this time I was a winner.

As a regular traveller to PNG I have always opted for the 'name' hotels. This trip however coincided with the Pacific Games so accommodation was heavily booked and prices were up. As I intended to stay longer than usual I looked for a cheaper option. Wellness Eco Lodge was recommended by a few friends so I thought I would try...

We were limited with our choice of places to stay in Port Moresby due to the fact we were there for the Pacific Games and most places were booked out. Therefore The Wellness lodge would not have been our first choice. However The Wellness lodge was clean, reasonably quiet and safe. The rooms needed some serious upgrading but everything worked....

It should be a given that a hotel is safe, clean, and not full of drunks or prostitutes. Unfortunately, in Moresby even the very high end places can get pretty loud abd unpleasant with drunks and call girls all over the place. Wellness has very clean rooms, good security, and a no smoking/alcohol/betel nut rule that makes it a nice...

Not far from the airport, this hotel is very well organized and with amazing and helpful staff. they provide you free shuttle service to and from the airport, which is 15 minutes drive. shuttle is clean and on time. rooms are quite big, very clean (hard to find this in PNG) and the ladies who take care of the room...

The hotel is located close to the China Market - and also quite close to Boroko Food World. In Papua New Guinea, safety is of utmost concern - at Wellness fortunately they have really high fences which kind of gives you a safe feeling. The gates are manned by armed guards - in fact when I stayed there prior to...
