The place has definitely gone to seed. Reception area is ok, staff nice enough, but going to our room I wondered what we have gotten into. The stairs are flaking several layers of paint, and it's a little grim. Our room however was fine. Good air con, beds, pillows, bathroom facilities all adaquete. I'm reading some of the reviews of...

Pretty Basic hotel, think it has had a grand past, but needs upkeep and updating. Only stayed for 1 night on 2 occasions on our way to Pohnpei and home again. We were met by a local friend and given a great our of the island and explained a lot of their difficulties they have.

I stayed in the Mennen for work, the facilities are very basic, but it is a fantastic opportunity to experience local life. Nice restaurant on site and convenience shop. Beer only bar. Only fresh bread on Island at bakery behind "Motel". The security guards kindly showed me how to de-husk a fresh coconut, fabulous beach, The WW2 Bomber trail is very...

My 4 night stay was OK, I was in one of the Donga rooms. The property is terribly run down. It looks like somewhere that is in financial trouble because it has no guests yet due to expat occupancy it runs at nearly 100% full at the most outrageous rates ($250pn+) My room was large with a double bed, desk...

I would tell you not to stay here if possible. This Government hotel is run down and the staff dont really care. Toilets did not flush and had to use buckets of water. I had booked a car with the hotel but they forget all about that. Stay at the Capellas supermarket area if you can get a room of...

I stayed at the Menen for more than 2 months recently. I stayed in one of the dongas, rather than the hotel. The room was ok - comfortable bed with basic facilities, but the hotel service was pretty terrible (towels only replaced once a week, toilet paper often forgotten, and quite shabby bed linen). The cleaning was generally ok though....

Transfer between airport and hotel is free. I informed the flight No. and arriving time and asked to come to see me at the airport. But, there was no hotel car, and there was no information, then I asked Digicel staff at arriving terminal to call the hotel. I stayed at this hotel for one night. When I checked in,...

Stayed for three nights here. The rooms are very expensive for what they offer - the water either ran hot or cold, never both. And the air conditioner leaked water. The restaurant did great Chinese food for lunch but didn't bother opening for breakfast (as advertised) and when I asked for a yea bag I was told there were none!...

Its a difficult place to review because relative to most places in the world it is pretty poor but in Nauru it is the best place there is. Clean enough but tired and worn out. I had an ocean view room which was better than a carpark view room. Two single beds which had seen better days but as clean...
