What I love most about this hotel is its location. About 5-10 mins from the so-called CBD area of Koror by cab, but just a stone throw away from our dive shop Neco Marine. Every morning we left our hotel at 7:55am and a short...More
I stayed 3 nights at Sea Passion as part of a packaged booked through Sam's tour. Overall I had a very good stay and I would recommend this hotel.
- great location, convenient for diving, fishing (Sam's) and walking distance from other restaurants
The Sea Passion is a comfortable hotel, centrally located, with good views, a nice white sand beach, accomidating staff, and some descent food. The Japanese resturaunt located on the second floor was good enough. Not great but a overall good value with the portions large....More
I believe that the majority of visitors to Palau are from Asia, so please keep that in mind when staying at the hotel. Most things are catered to their tastes. That being said, the rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable. I can't say...More
Good location, a 10 minute walk to the edge of town, 30 minutes to the center. Easy to get a cab to take you into town ($5-$7) if you don't want to walk. Not much going on in town, we only ventured in for dinner...More

When is the best month to go for diving and snorkelling? And how much would your room rates be for that month? 2 people - husband and wife, we require a sizeable room in a quiet corner of your hotel with hot and cold shower and preferably with a nice view of the ocean and a silent aircon. Thank you.

My wife and I were there in May/June 2014, as for the best time of year to go for diving I think you would need to some research as to what you might specifically want to see in case breeding patterns and seasons have a bearing on this, example when we were there it was apparently breeding season for Trigger Fish, they were aggressively territorial around their nests, even more so than usual due to eggs and young,
Being in the tropics you can expect rainfall at anytime of the year but use seasonal climate charts to give you a bit of an idea as to how much you might expect.
As for the hotel rooms, I would suggest if you want a reasonably quiet room ask for an upper floor that overlooks the lagoon and 'beach bar, its away from the main road and has some nice views, we had a room on the 4th floor on a corner of the building that faced out over the main road, it was a very spacious room with two double beds and wet/bathroom, the aircon was adequate once you figured out out what the controls did, the writing on the controller was in some eastern asian script, not English.
There are plenty of diving and snorkeling operators nearby, we were on a liveaboard, Ocean Hunter 3 run by Fish n fins, they also run fast launch day boats, again you would need to do your own research on who runs a good operation and who doesn't all I can say is that we found Fish n Fins to be very good.
Hope that helps a little.
