Hotel is located very close to area with many restaurants and shops. Hotel itself is simple and clean. My room was bigger the I expected (and needed) with a big window on sea side. Reception Team was very kind and helpful.

We had a great experience at Paradise Palau Hotel. We booked a room that shared a common space with other rooms that had a kitchenette and sitting area - when we were there none of the other rooms were occupied so we basically had an apartment to ourselves. Our room was large w

I had a very short stay for two nights at Palau Paradise, but wish I had more. The hotel is superbly located in the middle of Koror, with plenty of shopping options and restaurants at a short walking distance. The hotel itself is fairly simple, but clean, safe and comfortable. Th

The hotel is located at the main street in Koror, almost next to the shopping center and within three-minutes walk to post office. The room was spacious, clean but basic. Hotel doesn't offer a breakfast - there are variety of option nearby within 5-10 minutes walk. There is no fr

Hello and thank you for sharing. Does Palau have the same elec. current as we do? 110? Is the water cold at Jelly Fish lake? I want to be off the beaten path. Should I go with a more local guide rather than a big one like Sam's? My sister is scuba certified but I am not, can we enjoy the snorkeling together and then have her do some scuba? Do they have beginner scuba for someone like me?
Hello Linda R, Warm Greetings from Palau Paradise Hotel. Thank you for taking the time to post an enquiry directed to us. The standard voltage in Palau is 110V. The water is warm near the surface and slightly colder near the bottom of the lake. Due to the tropical weather in Palau, it never gets too cold. Regarding tour operators, it really is a matter of personal preference. I highly recommend our parters in Sam's Tours, Palau Dive Adventures, and Impac Tours in no particular order. They provide professional excursions and prioritize safety. They rank at the top of TripAdvisor ratings for a reason =) You can enjoy snorkeling at the many awe-inspiring snorkel sites without being scuba certified. Additionally, there are introductory diving tours offered by the dive shops which offer a glimpse into the magnificient marine biodiversity which Palau's oceans have in store. Please do not hesitate to address any additional inquiries or concerns you may have. Thank you for your interest in Paradise Hotel. We look forward to serving you in the near future! Sincerely Yours, Jee

Thanks for the reply, Jee. I look forward to seeing all the spots you recommend! Regarding transportation to your hotel from the airport (around 9pm), you suggest taxi or airport shuttle service. You mention taxi prices fluctuate depending on gas rates, but just to give me an idea, what would a taxi cost to your hotel from the airport today? Also, can you tell me a little more about the shuttle service? How often does it run? Would they drop us off right in front of your hotel? What is the cost? Thanks in advance! Andrew
Hello PPH, My partner and I will be staying at your hotel from January 13 to 16, 2015. We get in on the 13th at about 8:45pm and would like to know the best way of getting to your hotel. If it's taxi, what should we expect to pay? Also, I would be interested in your recommendations for day trips on the 14th (jellyfish lake, rock islands, milky way, etc.). Finally, which sites/attractions would be accessible by rental car since I'm thinking about getting a car for the 15th. Can you suggest a good value car rental place near the hotel? Thanks in advance! Andrew
Hello Mr. Andrew, Warm Greetings from Palau Paradise Hotel! First of all, I would like to extend my appreciation for choosing Paradise Hotel as your accommodation of choice. Taxi, rental car, and airport shuttle services are viable options of transportation from the airport. Taxi service is not run by meter in Palau. Therefore, costs are heavily dependent on pump prices at the time and what the taxi operator will charge for his/her services. Jellyfish Lake, the Rock Islands, and Milky Way are three of the must experience wonders of Palau! On the 15th, I would suggest getting a rental car and touring the Big Island of Babeldoab. On the way, you could visit Ngardmau Waterfalls, the Capitol building of Palau, the Stone Monoliths, as well as taking priceless pictures at all the scenic backdrops the Big Island has in store for you. My staff and I are available round the clock to assist you with anything you may need that will help facilitate your vacation into an unforgettable experience! Thank you for your interest in Paradise Hotel. We look forward in welcoming you to your home here in Palau! Sincerely Yours, Jee
