I recently stayed at the Cliffside Hotel in Palau from May 9-16. I brought 2 of my students from Guam as well as my co-worker. From the minute I arrived all the way until my last goodbye, it was nothing but pure pleasantry. I love everything about the hotel! The staff are trained way beyond any 5 star hotel I've...

On Friday, April 18, I took six high school students from Guam and one of our staff for breakfast at the restaurant in this hotel. When our students went to pay for their breakfast, one of the Filipina waitresses was having a difficult time getting separate checks ready. In the process she turned to another waitress and said something bad...

The Cliffside was a little heaven for us and perfect for a stay in Koror before going to the islands. Super friendly staff did everything to accommodate us and our little 13 month old baby. The rooms are comfortable and good value for money. The manager? Really helpful and no nonsense. Although the rooms are a little dated, the lower...

I originally booked Palau Royal - which has its own beach and is very convenient for excursions which leave right next door - but decided that it was simply too much money when we were planning to spend all our time outside the hotel anyways. Cliffside had prompt transportation, breakfast included and free Wifi in the lobby (extra fee in...

Cliffside has a gorgeous view with a very friendly and helpful staff. The best rooms are on the first floor because it is one giant balcony. The rooms smell a little musty and they don't always staff their pool bar. But always willing to call restaurants to set up rezervations and rides for you. Would also remember us when we...

First thing travelers need to know it that Palau isn't cheap. What you pay in almost all Palau's mid range places, you can stay in a Luxury hotel in Thailand. If you stay at the 2-3 luxury hotels in Koror area rooms will start at $250,00 - $300.00 on up. So with that said.....I really like the Cliffside. The rooms...

Stayed at the Cliffside in January 2014 and our room was a dump, dirty, peeling wallpaper, the pool was cloudy and no one to help at the restaurant. Really not worth the money, my pictures should explain the room. I expect a clean room and did not get it. I asked for a tour of all the rooms that were...

Cliffside Hotel has free transport from/to airport about 20 minutes. Location is nearby town Koror and place is very quite. Hotel has restaurant, bar and swimming pool. Continental breakfast is including price. I reccommned tropical drink Blue Belau in this bar! Swimming pool is good for relaxation. Hotel has agreement with Palau Pacific Resort. Transport is free. In the resort...

My husband stayed at Cliffside for a day between leaving our liveaboard and catching our flight home. The pluses? The room was relatively clean, there's free (if slow) wifi in the lobby and they provide a day pass to Palau Pacific Resort. The minuses? The hotel is very worn, there was no air conditioning in the lobby making the free...

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for three days after our liveaboard. The hotel was nice, it seemed a bit pricey for what you got, but then again everything on Palau is expensive. The best part about this hotel is your access to PPR's beach and outdoor activities. The room was clean, the air conditioning works, free bottled...
