Not Honiara's newest, flashiest or most expensive hotel but centrally located, charming features (in particular that cable-car-instead-of-elevator), friendly efficient staff and large rooms. Buffet breakfast generous (with fresh coconuts and an egg station); evening Thai-themed restaurant better than other reviews had led me to expect. I made three visits here in my short two week Solomon stay - they will...

I usually stay at King Solomon Hotel when I am working in Honiara. It is in a great location, reasonably priced and the cable car up to the rooms makes it quite quirky! The staff are usually all very friendly. It obviously attracts a lot of people working in Honiara and competes with the other main hotels. This place could...

The Solomons do not have many options when it comes to accommodations. This is not Fiji. We did discover 2 other hotel options that appear to be higher level, but overall, the King Solomon Hotel got the job done at a better value. Here's the main thing. Get a room on top to avoid noise at night! This place is...

After having been to a few different hotels in Honiara, I now always come back to King Solomon. They are definitely the best value for money. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. With live shows on many nights and a great live band on Fridays it's certainly a great environment here. The restaurant...

Adequate room and good service. All accommodation in Honiara is expensive, so keep your expectations low. Handy having bar downstairs with free wifi. Breakfast was also free. Cable car was unreliable but the doorman will help with bags if broken.

My sister, I and a fellow traveller had to stay overnight in Honiara because our flight was cancelled to Seghe on our way to the Western Province in February 2017. I was very pleased with the accommodation, the level and friendliness of service. Dinner that evening was excellent and breakfast was also good. Nice hotel for our stay in transit....

I spent about 4 nights at the King Solomon hotel and although it was short I enjoyed the space and the service provided. The hotel staff were very helpful and I would like to encourage them to keep up the good work.

Coming to the Solomons I always master the art of traveling alone but I'm not too daring to skip out of my comfort zones. Many other hotels are calling foreigners to check-in but I find my mind already made up to book a room at King Solomon Hotel because of its laid back atmosphere and casualness that makes you feel...
