The taxi driver was waiting with a sign at the arrivals area. Simplified arrival after dark since the hotel is on a road not shown in popular map apps. Initial impression seemed like the room was untidy and run down. Wrong. The next morning we discovered what a really nice apartment it was. Building is a bit old, but the kitchen was really well equipped with good pans, useful utensils, rice cooker. Really clean sturdy shelves allowed us to keep track of our stuff. Amazingly peaceful location. 15 min walk to big grocery store, 20 min more and we arrived at Central Market. The wireless broadband internet might be improved by better router location. We opted for a DigiCel SIM card. No hot water but during the hot days, the cold water is refreshing. Too many free range roosters up early in the neighborhood. Functional fans instead of AirCon. No hot water, but lots of hot weather.

What an amazing place to stay at. Michelle went out of her way to help us with our trip. Offered us assistance in getting from the airport. Her husband spent the day with us showing us around the schools we were visiting. And to top it all off the accommodation was just perfect. As others have said this is best fit for real people. Better than staying in a hotel away from the real feel of a country. We left feeling like part of the extended family and will always always stay here when traveling to Port Vila. Thank you thank you thank you Michelle and all of the family who made our stay so special!

Love it here. Port Vila is too much for me, but if I have to stay here with family this is the place. Best fit for real people, not your lame Rich folk travelers. If your fake and got bling go stay at the Ramada, or better yet, go to fiji and stay away from Vanuatu! If your a kind gentle loving being who cares more for people than money, you will greatly appreciate this place. Very nice rooms as well. Tile floors, fridge, stove, close to the local food market and walking distance to downtown.

I stayed at Pasi Lodge in port Vila by myself As a woman in her late 20's. this was a great set up! Privet bathroom, 2 sleeping rooms, fresh towels. Pasi Lodge is maybe a 2 minute walk off the main road and only 12 minutes into the heart of port Vila. I would Highly recommend this place to someone who wants a more authentic Vanuatu experience. The owners were very friendly and accomodating. I'll be back :)

Was suppose to check in on Sunday am, was told after arrival room would not be ready till after 3pm. Was woken at 4am early Sat morning by a local yelling and slamming doors, i could handle that considering you are living among the locals in this area, but Saturday night the back neighbour was playing very loud music till about 4.30am Sunday morning. Tried to call the reception to complain but no answer. Apart from not being able to sleep the lodge is quite clean, there are many bugs, cockroaches and ants. Also had a woozy rat stagger over the back porch area. There is a lovely view of an oil/petrol tank outside your back doorstep. If you catch local transport at night take a torch as the walk down to the lodge from the main road at night is pitch black. The staff there are beautiful and a credit to the lodge. Its cheap accomodation so you get what you pay for. There is no hot water and the bathroom is quite small. The rooms are small and if you have a large suitecase it doesn't leave much room for anything else. Foam Mattress. There is no lounge. There are cooking faciltites so you can cook yourself a meal and a small fridge to keep drinks cold.
