Breakas is a beautiful secluded resort for adults only. Now our kids are older and we don't travel with them now thus is a big draw card. Being Easter we just wanted a peaceful place and were not disappointed. Our garden bungalow was steps away from the beach. Well its a coral bay not much good for swimming or snorkeling...

We visited for lunch. The restaurant/bar area is lovely, overlooking the pool and out to the beach. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I loved the kava colada! Service was friendly and quick. A really enjoyable visit.

We have just arrived home from a 7 night stay at Breakas Beach Resort. We were so blown away by the beautiful staff here, from Security to the Wait and Bar staff. They all stopped for a chat and made us feel so welcome. We loved the food, although slightly pricey, but the menu was vast and very tasty. The...

Just returned from a really enjoyable week at Breakas. Friendly capable staff and the resort is looking good. The themed meals were excellent as was the entertainment, especially the resort's resident entertainer Jimmy. One note be prepared to pay Australian prices for your meals at the resort. Also while I expected there to be wi-fi, in the common areas at...

My husband and I just returned from 12 nights at beautiful breakas resort Port Vila. We stayed in garden fare 3 just a short stroll to the water, bar and restaurant. King size bed was so comfortable and the outdoor shower with hot water was a great experience even when it rained a little. The food was delicious although a...

My husband and I went to Vanuatu and stayed here for a week and it was great! Location is excellent or surfers if the conditions are right! They have a beach break and point break in front of the hotel! We surfed every day! The reef looks scary but is not bad. The locals are great however they surf as...

Well where do I start, you cant swim in the beach because of the reef, you have to fight off the mossies, the smoke from the villages which surround the resort is horrendous especially of a night when you are trying to sleep, and breakfast was so disappointing, yes you can order breakfast but why do you have to pay...

Dear Franciska685, Thank you for taking the time to share your review and comments with us, Yes you are correct as there is coral reef in front of our resort and when it is low tide you are able to swim where the reef starts to drop off and meet our local dugong's and is full of marine life. We have just returned from a 12 day trip to Vanuatu, 6 of the days spent at Breakas. It was an amazing experience, beautiful fare right on the beach and an excellent choice of meals. We travelled with our 16 year old daughter who loved the pool. We all loved the hermit crabs! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful,...

Steve and I came to Breakas for our 30th wedding anniversary and we are so glad we did! The wonderful and helpful staff full of smiles, the villa in the garden, the atmosphere of the resort, the pool to cool you down, cocktail hour, dinner and show and the guests. To top it all off our anniversary dinner and show...
