Erakor Island is beautifully laid out with lovely gardens and a restaurant / bar that overhangs the lagoon. The setting is fantastic. The kids movie night on a Tuesday is also highly recommended. Kids have popcorn and pizza whilst Mum and Dad have dinner alone!...More

Yes there is and there are so many huge starfish, sea cucumbers, marine creatures etc. My son loved it. There are dugongs on the opposite side but we did not see them. Low tide is a better time for walking the beach and exploring rock pools. Erakor does provide snorkling gear and reef shoes if needed (not in sizes for little kids though).
We were advised by one of the staff to spend the day at Hideaway Island as the snorkelling there is supposed to be much better with reefs and more colourful fish (we did not get there though).
Erakor Island Resort does not have a swimming pool but all the Villas are right on the water for swimming. Temperature in July is 26°C max day so water is lovely to swim in during the day. It drops to19°C min at night.
