This place was awful! It isn't a resort. Its more like a halfway house / back packers. Don't waste your money. There are too many things to list on why NOT to stay there. The pool was out of order, all of the chairs around the pool are broken, ripped and there are flies everywhere. The staff don't clean your room properly - there are no clean towels or replenished toilet paper. And forget about the breakfast! There isn't any - maybe a stale piece of bread and some fruit that smells! The photos of this place that are on their website etc are obviously retouched and many years old! The pool was green!

Dark, dingy and nothing like the photos, we checked in to 2 rooms and 5 minutes later we checked out. We arrived at around 10pm, one of the rooms hadn’t been cleaned, was messy, beds had been slept in and dirty towels lying on the floor. Our rooms were supposed to be next to each other, they were in separate buildings. The lady on the reception desk was nice and wanted to “make the beds” for us, NOT change the bedding, just make the beds. We booked superior orchid rooms, I dread to think what the other rooms were like. This place is NOT a resort, it’s a backpackers with a pool. Travelers Beware.

We stayed at coconut palms resort and it is close to town and right in the middle of the local community. Waking up to chickens and roosters for me was fantastic but best of all for me where the staff.
