This is a regular place I stay in Kinshasa for several reasons. 1. Because this is where my office has an arrangement with/special rate 2. It's cheaper than most hotels in Kinshasa (between $80-$120 normal rates) 3. Great location It's a comfortable sleep, but sometimes they have issues with their air-conditioning, and plumbing. This has happened to me twice, and...

This hotel provides a secure location in central Kinshasa with reliable wifi, power and water supplies. And, at a reasonable price! The restaurant menu is limited, but everything is prepared freshly, so we ordered our meal, went back to our rooms to do a little more work and returned say 40 minutes later to a hearty meal. Sadly, we could...

OK, I don't know Kinshasa so well so do not have much to compare it too. The room was very basic (though clean), quite noisy, with lots of mosquitoes and very poor water pressure but with no bucket bath so that not even a bucket bath was an option - had to sit under a trickle from a hand held...

This hotel is located off the Blvd 30 Juin, a nice location if you are here in Kinshasa especially for business. The rooms are spacious with a sitting area equipped with a small kitchen including a small fridge and a good size bedroom. The bathroom is decent, there is hot water. Air conditioning works pretty well. The hotel also has...

The hotel is very reasonable priced for Kinshasa and is conveniently located in the Gombe area near UN agencies. The rooms are quite small but comfortable and clean. The bathrooms are in decent conditions (for standards in most of Africa). I didn't use the pool but it looked enticing and the water seemed clean. Staff is very friendly and trying...

I have stayed here several times now. Kinshasa is stupidly expensive and very volatile so working for an NGO you have to balance cost with security. Residence Marika works on both counts. Good central location, close to good restaurants etc, and safe and secure. I tend to ask the security guards to accompany me if I want to go to...

Break fast ok; nice sitting outside in the small garden; internet worked nicely; but no drinks or food in the evening; they had to get the beers from some store arround the corner...Price ok for Kinshasa (80.- US$)

Stayed at Marika for over 1 week, the hotel is quite conveniently located, just off the boulevard du 30 Juin and near the expat grocery store Peloustore. The hotel looks ok and is in ok condition. However on the first nights I had no running water and the hotel has no plan B for such an eventuality. The room was...
