I had a wonderful time at Meliá Hotel Yangon from May 2023 to June 2023. Their staffs are very friendly, helpful and made me feel like home. I’ll definitely stay there again. They have an excellent choices for breakfast. But the best part of my stay was they prepared delicious Mont Hinn Kher for me every morning. Thank you so much Meliá Yangon and their staffs for making my trip wonderful.
I would like to a special thanks to the following staffs and would love to recommend their services. They are very lovely and they always do excellent jobs. They all made my long stay amazing and I can’t wait to visit them again.

I had the pleasure of staying at Melia Yangon for the second time, and it was just as exceptional as my first visit. The highlight of the stay is undoubtedly the breathtaking view of Inya Lake, which made every morning feel special.

A special mention to Kyu, the best florist, whose beautiful flower arrangements added a touch of elegance throughout my stay. Pa Pa from housekeeping kept my room spotless and comfortable, and I always appreciated the attention to detail. Aung Htay, Paing Gyi, and Wai Lin from the concierge team were incredibly helpful, offering great local tips and ensuring every need was met with a smile.
The highlight of my mornings was the special breakfast, “buu thee kyaw”, which the chef cooked for me every morning. As someone who only eats Mont Hinn Kher during my stay, this thoughtful gesture made me feel right at home and truly added to the charm of my experience.

One of the best hotels in Yangon with a warm and friendly service. Since this is Christmas, the hotel is also decorated with a beautiful ginger house where we took the pictures and the staff named Carlos came to assist us in taking pictures. He also explained us about the christmas room packages and even the new year countdown party prices when we ask him about the room promotions. Although this is a short visit to the wedding, I was amazed by all the staff's helpful behavior and smiles.

Housekeeper Heis Zaee was very attentive to our requests and demonstrated a strong passion for his job, frequently checking in to ensure our comfort. We were pleased with the service provided by the hotel.
Additionally, we participated in a yoga session offered by the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. The other amenities, including the gym and pool, were also impressive.

We visited the Friday Buffet, and the moment we entered, a Christmas choir was singing in the lobby, creating a magical start to our evening. The entire place was beautifully decorated with Christmas decor, providing us with many great photo opportunities. The gingerbread house was a wonderful highlight.
At the entrance of the market, the host escorted us to our table. The restaurant being fully booked, the atmosphere was lively with a music band playing Christmas songs, which added to the festive spirit.
The food was absolutely delicious. My favorites were the Chinese style steamed fish, Tom Yum soup, and Umm Ali with ice cream. The beer was perfectly cold and fresh this time, much better than our last visit when they had an issue and served beer with ice.
The service was exceptional. Even though the restaurant was fully booked, the team managed everything smoothly and maintained excellent standards throughout.
Overall, the price is reasonable for such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be coming back again soon.

I am staying at Melia Yangon for a month and it's almost over. It has been very nice to us. I spent my partner's birthday at Melia as well. It was really beautiful. They decorated the room with the colorful balloons, golden happy birthday balloons, a beautiful postcard and the cake. My partner had stayed at a lot of other hotels in many countries, but he told me that this was the first time a hotel had prepared for his birthday like that. I was happy honestly, looking at him like this feeling the moment and spending the evening looking at the nice beautiful sunset over Inya lake, a nice champagne for birthday toast in the evening at the lounge too. Thank you for a beautiful day! I hope every single person could feel nice things in life! I personally think the view from the room which connects balcony is the best view in Yangon because you can see both Inya lake and Shwe Dagon pagoda. The sunset is incredibly beautiful and Shwe Dagon at night is so golden. There also is a few things that I would like to share about Melia hotel. Myanmar is facing a lot of difficulties at the moment, like insanely crazy inflation rate. I saw other hotels had cut off nice things like nice breakfast, the lounge. But Melia still has really nice breakfast, a good selection and I am satisfied with that and I still think me and my partner had made a right choice staying at Melia Yangon. I also would like to thanks to some of the staffs at Melia for making us a better and enjoyable stay. Thank you, Nway Nway, Myat Noe, Ma Sint, Pan Pwint, Tin Ko Lin, Kaung San, Yadanar, Sunandar, George, Wai Moe Lwin, Khant Zin Thu, Khaing Hsu Wai, Maymar Moe and some of the staffs at the lounge ( i dont know their names but i like them too). My Friend invited me and my husband for the breakfast at earliest august. Breakfast is arranged at a "market restaurant". The breakfast was nice and delicious. All staff were very lovely and welcoming with sweet smiles. After the breakfast, we went to the reception desk and asked about the room rate for Staycation for our future gathering. The reception staff, Hnin also very friendly and extremely care and explained about the suitable plan for us. Again.
