Good location, pretty close to the sule pagoda and chinatown, good breakfast and wifi but the staff is really confused and disoganized. I stayed in a shared room, when I come back to the hostel at night to sleep there was other people sleeping on my bed. My luggage was outside with all my belongings. The staff putted me in... More

Located just a few minutes from Sule, easy for public transport, the beds are very clean, and the dorms have a/c... Confortable and cheap, you can choose between private rooms or dorm. Friendly staff, central location, cleanliness.... One of the few places where you can find dorm beds in the city... Recomended.

This was one of the worst places I've been to so far, this hostel is run bij kids and you won't see an adult around. You pay 25 dollars for a room without warm water and very dirty and they shut the air conditioning off as soon as they think you are asleep to save some money. Every day around.... More

Where do we start...the unfriendly, uninterested manager...the dead dried cockroach in the room...the dirty sheets and towels...or the fact that there are only cold water showers!!??? Oh ya, maybe the mosquito filled room!!! Unless you want to use the equally dirty mosquito net you won't get much sleep. This is by far the worst place we stayed in Myanmar and... More

The guy working in the second guesthouse (closer to Sule Pagoda) is probably the unfriendliest burmese I met during my trip. I didn't see him smile a single time during my 3 night stay. The guesthouse is quite dirty. I saw it being cleaned by a ~10 year old boy (family member i guess). You think a 10yo can do... More

The hotel was nice , the price was abit high for our budget, but the rooms were good and the beds comfy. The shared bathrooms were also very clean , but we were invaded by mosquitos, hundreds were flying around the hotel and than on our second night the power went out and the generator kicked in , making sleep... It's got a Japanese house feel to it, hence the name. Found the beds really comfortable though the pillows were a bit stiff. You will definitely get bitten by mosquitos during the night if you don't use the net. There is working A/C. The bathrooms are clean, but the showers are cold :( The boys that work there are really... More

THERE ARE TWO OKINAWA GUESTHOUSES. I stayed in the first one closest too the pagoda / monument park- second opened. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews? Perhaps it's a mixture of both? Yes, the mattresses are on the floor but this doesn't impact sleeping that much, the pillows are a little hard but dormitory life I'd... More

I stayed in a few different places in Yangon but this place was the best for the money. Air con, wifi, everything clean, books, Mosquito net in the room (didn't use). The little dudes that run the place are very nice and helpful. Not sure why everyone has such high expectations for a low cost accomodation. Will stay here again!

“the best room there is the triple room upstairs with bathroom attached 40$ I think, downstairs rooms are also OK but a bit noisy in day time, if you like quiet then choose the last room down the hall on the first floor but it doesn't have bathroom attached. that room is 18$ I think.”
