From the incredibly warm welcome from Honey to the fantastic staff, tasty breakfast and relaxing pool this hotel is incredible. It transports you to another world, and feels like a throw back to another era. Moving forward this is the only hotel I will stay at in Yangon. The flowers in the room are a nice touch and the generous...

We spent two nights at the Savoy Hotel on arriving in Myanmar. The Savoy is a beautiful, colonial style hotel on a busy cross road. But once inside the hotel grounds you dont hear any noise. The room was spacious. If you dont like to climb steep stairs pick a room on the ground floor. They also have a large...

After a night out I was beyond happy to come back to my charming room and fall into the comfy bed. The next morning I had a flawless breakfast outside with everything you could ask for. The staff is very nice as well. Now relaxing in the shadow of a traditional myanmar umbrella by the pool surrounded by beautiful flowers...

We stayed at the Savoy for two nights on arriving in Myanmar and also on our last night. It is a very nice boutique colonial hotel. The restaurants and bar all good but expensive by Myanmar standards. The pool and out door eating area are very relaxing. There is a spa but I did not use it. Breakfast was good....

The Savoy is a sweet boutique retreat in the middle of a bustling city. The rooms are well appointed and spacious. The pool and the overlooking restaurant are quiet and relaxing. The breakfast is sumptuous and the staff are Uber friendly and helpful.

It's not grand like The Strand but charming. It is not a big hotel and the pool is quite small. Staff ate vety professional and courteous. Good service overall. It's quite old so don't expect modern facilities. The room and bathroom are pretty dark. Not great for my aged mother. Water from shower doesn't drain very well. We need to...

An old fashioned, wooden three floor wooden mansion with an interior courtyard and swimming pool. Good restaurants with local and European food. The rooms are large and well appointed. The staff are superfriendly and helpful. The hotel is however a bit pricey.

I have no hesitation about recommending the lovely Savoy Hotel in Yangon. The hotel is really well-located within a very short drive of the Shwe Dagon temple.
