I spent the first night in Myanmar in this hotel. Overall, nothing too much for expected from a 3 stars hotel. Room is a bit old, very friendly staffs, specially in Reception counter. The location is perfect, just opposite to Aung San Boyoke market with large selection of Myanmar traditional handicrafts, souvernirs, silk ..... but please be informed about the...

I stayed at Central Hotel for four nights in mid-May, 2016. The service was friendly and helpful from the moment I stepped in the door. My room on the third floor was clean and spacious with a nice view of the busy street below. It's not a new hotel and is showing its age, but that's okay. It adds to...

Great location, close to Pagodas and other touristic attractions, very friendly staff, great buffet, easy to get a taxi, comfortable clean rooms. I didn't like that the housekeeping woke me up 2 times in one hour, it hasn't happen to me before in any hotel, but that is the only thing I didn't like. Even the smell of that hotel...

After some relaxing days at Amazing Ngapali, it was time to spend some nights at the Central Hotel in Yangoon. The hotel is obviously designed to cater Chinese and locals, the breakfast was just to fill the stomach in the morning. Nothing else. The staff seemed to be more interested to watch the TV on the wall, luckily the sound...

Good foot massage and whole body massage on 6th floor. Unfortunately there were serval loud clients talking and laughing during one of the sessions and the workers just allowed them to be loud and obnoxious. Strange thing getting to the 6th floor is that you pass through a metal detector once you enter the lobby, we buzzed but no one...

Nice hotel, decent rooms, but nothing special. The perfect thing is the location. Market, Chinatown, etc, everything in walking distance. Stable internet from a Myanmar point-of-view. Located at a busy road, the noise also enters the rooms on the street side.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and our check in was easy. The rooms were spacious but in need of new decor. The bed was very hard. The location is good, close to the markets and downtown sights. I found the cigarette smoke coming through the air conditioning and construction noise annoying though.

Stayed 5 nights...tv was "being upgraded" for all 5. Wi-fi password kept changing. Hard bed, slow hot water and noisy renovations all day. The location is great tho...close to station, scott market, sakura tower and sule pagoda. Easy to get a cab out front.

I stayed 27&28 Feb 2016. It is located in the central area , Sule pagoda is walking distance. It is a budget hotel , as single room with double bed is 50/60$. Restaurant services good food - I liked the thai style. Staff are well behaved and smiling. I will obviously stay there if I ever go to Yangon.
