Downtown, near many landmarks places and very price competitive hotel to stay. I won't say it is the best, but it won't make you down for sure.
Since January, i had came for business and staying in the same hotel more than 5 times. And...More
It is al about an opstaldning location. Walking distance to many sights and restaurants, including the train station.
Rooms are smallish and so is breakfast. Room is quiet.
Two things are wrong. Colossal rocks for pillows and taking a shower drowns the entire bathroom.
I lucked out with this place, finally settling on it cuz it seemed like the best bargain for our budget. I was pleasantly surprised to find so clean, orderly, and accommodating a location in the middle of Yangon, after having read so many travel blog...More

The rest of the comments are right on the money! I stay there monthly, and only eat in, if I have no choice. That's not to say the food is bad. On the contrary, quite palatable. But there are so many restaurants around. If you head towards Bogyoke Aung San road, there's a Golden Bell Tea shop that serves good local fare. The Indian restaurant that had been mentioned is Titu's , next door to you. Another Indian chain restaurant is Nilar Win, on Anawrhata road, reached by turning right upon the exit of the hotel. Hope it helps :)
