I have read mixed reviews on here about the Classique Inn and I'd like to mention two things: first, tourism and hospitality in this country cannot be compared to what you might experience somewhere else in Asia (Thailand, for example). Everything is less luxurious and more complicated to get to. Secondly, this is no five-star resort but a little BB...

The B&B is clean and charming but is a little removed from the city centre. The hosts are great, gave great honest travel advice and local know-how, cooked a very decent breakfast, offered complimentary bottles of purified water and will order taxis into town for you. Before we had a chance to exchange money, they even lent us the 3000kyat...

Located in the prestigious and affluent part of Yangon, Classique Inn is about 20 mnutes from airport. The rooms (both deluxe twin and deluxe double rooms) were small and a bit pricey considering the size and the limited amenities provided. The furniture in the rooms were also old. On the plus side, the staff were pleasant and accommodating. You can...

The Classique Inn is located in an affluent area of Yangon, a nice 15 min walk away from the Shwedagon pagoda. The place has such a wonderful peaceful atmosphere that you’re looking forward to getting there after a day of sightseeing. My favourite thing in the Classique Inn was breakfast: elegantly served in a quiet little garden, it was such...

Cost of living in Myanmar is relatively higher when comparing to countries like Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. Hotel in the country especially in the capital city is comparable to major cities in other parts of SE Asia e.g. Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur. Finding a decent hotel at a good price is never a easy task. If you're in the area, and...

This place gives you an experience of how aristocratic Burmeses live. It is very classy and Asian in every corner. Kalaya, the manager, is kind, knowledgeble, and helpful. Her suggestion is sincere and without commercial bias. The inn locates in the residental area, outside the city, which gives it a relax and quiet place to stay. Going to city is...

Tranquil location which provided a very restful stay. An excellent dinner was happily provided at the last moment upon our late arrival. The staff were at all times knowledgeable and helpful, especially Dohda who was always available to provide quiet, courteous service. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. An ugly addition on the upper floor destroys the harmony...

A really nice place, halfway between a B&B and a boutique hotel with the lovely rooms and nice artifacts dotted around. But the best aspect is the people - nothing could be too much trouble. We stayed twice, first on our way through Rangoon, and had a very early start - but even at 4.45, there was a freshly-prepared breakfast...

Very comfortable, friendly, well maintained, and efficient guest house. Located in a quiet area near art galleries, 15 min drive from the airport, at reasonable walking distance to the Shwedagon pagoda (~20min), perfect when you arrive in the afternoon and can spend the evening at the pagoda, which is amazing at night time. We had no regret on the location...

There's not a lot of choice in Yangon for comfortable B&B accommodation and Classique Inn is a lovely oasis in a hot dusty city. Kayla (the owner) and her staff gave us a warm welcome and were very helpful with any queries and travel arrangements. Breakfast was good - fresh fruit, eggs, toast. We stayed in two different rooms, a...
