I stayed here twice within the space of several weeks, topping and tailing a holiday in Myanmar. My first stay was for three lovely nights, and my review would have been almost entirely positive if it had been based on this visit. Unfortunately my final one-night stay in a shabbier room pulled down my impression somewhat. However, for a hotel... More

I was there for 2 days on work. Had to rush for a meeting after reaching so didnt have time to even pay upfront at the time of check in. The lady cheerfully agreed and I paid later in the evening. Pleasant, well mannered smiling faces greeted me each time. Clean, good rooms. Only thing missing was a safe. Very... More

Out tour group met here for our first night. Leader said that the hotel was selected because of location. I understood after experiencing Yangon traffic. Hotel was basic. Staff friendly. Tour was to conclude at this hotel two weeks later, but we decided to upgrade to another place for our last night in Myanmar. Hotel was charging people in our... More

We had problems with visa and flights and had to cancel our Agoda booking (unhelpful at Agoda). We wrote about our plight to Panorama and they waived the cancellation charges and even offered us a letter to be given to the embassy. Our only regret was that we booked a suite and it was not there when we came. Instead,... More

First of all, we thank you for your feedback. We are now investigating this case seriously. But the important thing is, let me make sure that we do not accept any guest without ID (Hotel Policy). Until now we have not found your name Jimmy Yarzar in the rooming list of the whole April, 2016. To be able to continue... More

The Panorama Hotel is central but basic. You can walk to the centre of the city and to the big jade market. There is a supermarket next door. Rooms are basic but perfectly comfortable. TV reception is poor and Internet is weak but available in the rooms (unusual in Myanmar). The breakfast is very poor and not even close to... More

Best Hotel for the rate and location. Staff friendly and very helpfull. The spread was good and had choice. I would recommend 5*. Go for it. The room was well equipped and clean. Toilets were superb and the balnket.towel.pillow . Linen was good. No regrets for the rate and one of the cheapest for budget traveller.

I stayed here for one night while on a group tour! The hotel is situated not far from the city centre and is about a 20 minute walk to the harbour where the Strand Hotel is.
