I had booked the hostel for 10 nights when I am travelling in Seoul. After first night, I decided to withdraw from the hostel (forfeiting my money) as they switched off the air-conditioning after 12 midnight (IT'S SUMMER!!!) and the fan (not of much used) provided is too noisy (due to vibration) when put on the desk. I could not... More

What can I say about it? It's a very cheap motel and the location is very convenient, not far from all the restaurants and shopping malls. It's ok to stay if you just want a cheap place to sleep over for a night and so. Be sure to get ready for the early shuttle bus ride.

I had a 17 hour layover in Seoul. The advertisement of a "shuttle," and the lack of the "shuttle bus" is partly to blame for a missed flight... I booked this hotel because booking.com told me there was a shuttle bus, and it wasn't next to the airport. "Cool!," I thought. "I can explore Seoul, and get back to the... More

We enjoyed our stay at Hostel Korea but a few things bothered us. The staff was very nice and helpful. They had sent us detailed explanation on the location and... More

Staying in Hostel Korea 5 with Hanok Medium in Jaunary 2013 but I did not have Tripadvisor account before so now turning in on and retype them. For budget stayers it is really a good choice as you can save more and use those savings running around for shoppings. Rooms are not big, but good location in Sinseol-Dong, traditional apartments... Travelled with hubby and 2 kids and wanted to be located near to train station in central. This hostel is located in a good location, and cost is great. Only bad thing is there is no lift and rooms with toilets are actually on the 3rd floor. We reserved another double room without toilet and it is at the 2nd... More

I stayed for 7 nights in Hostel Korea and despite having to make a few confirmation calls, the facilities were clean and comfortable! The staff was helpful in making sure that everything was okay and provided help in finding somewhere to rest in the hostel after checkout.

“Rooms without toilets are actually much better than rooms with one as water tend to leak into the room after showering. The shower screen doesnt really work. Those with ensuite toilets are located at 3rd floor and if you have large luggages, better to be located on 2nd floor instead. Anyway, the common toilets are small and clean.”
