In my room I expected a welcome package with binoculars and a sheet explaining what was in the view from the room, but again no such thing. In fact, the windows were somewhat dirty making it hard to take clear pictures from the room. Also, the light colours of the windowsill and other elements reflect in the windows, making it harder to take good pictures at night. The windowsill is large, but not large enough to comfortably sit on and enjoy the view.
Another thing I didn't expect (but should have on hindsight): it is a hassle to get from street level to a room on the 90-something-th floor. The first elevator takes about 40 seconds to go to the 80-something-th floor and my ears popped every time; up and down, taking several minutes to restore normal hearing. From the lobby one uses another elevator to go to the room level, which again takes some time. Getting a smoothie in the mall at the ground floor is quite an undertaking!
So instead of views or convenience it is all about luxury at the Signiel. The staff is polite and helpful. Language skills were good. The restaurant / room service offers a very good vegan breakfast, as well as a vegan sandwich. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, but one obviously pays for the location because comparable rooms in a regular building are much cheaper. Also, I wasn't impressed with the cleanliness. There was a nasty brown spot on the ceiling above the bath. The rug on the floor was downright dirty, being off white / ivory around the bed and desk (places less walked on) and brown in the middle. I would not even accept such a dirty rug at home, but at the Signiel I paid between 500 and 800 euros per night to stay in a room with it!
In conclusion: the Signiel is not bad in any way, but it is not what I expected. Other hotels offer at least as much luxury and service at a lower price, so I thought I paid for the view. However, there's a good 180 degrees of Seoul I never got to see / photograph from great height. Also, the height turned out to be a hassle. Going up and down takes a lot of time and makes ones ears pop.
To the Signiel hotel: please don't reply by saying "sorry for the dirty room, stay with us again and we'll do better". That is saying: we made a mistake, please pay us once more and we'll do better. That's not an excuse, but marketing.

That being said, you stay here for the novelty of it and for the view. The view lived up to its billing and the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Outside of the thirty minute plus check in, the service was exceptional and friendly which bumped it to a five.
I'm not sure why the Executive Lounge is so terrible. Seems nonsensical and I must be missing something. As far as I can tell, there are no rooms that come with breakfast. And breakfast is about $55 per person. If you just want a latte, that's about $19 US. Maybe that's why and they want you to pay up.
Lastly, from a tourist's perspective, the location is away from everything and away from where the group tours start and you'll need to take a train to city hall. Just an inconvenience, but for the money, unless you really want to say you stayed there, there are probably better hotels with better amenities in better locations.

First of all, I was treated with an attitude that made fun of Japanese people.
This was evident in the interactions between the staff members. I said I don't understand Korean and would like to speak English, but
Check-in began on behalf of Katakoto's Japanese-speaking male staff in his 50s. Breakfast hours and other information were given quickly, and even after entering the room, there was no explanation of the facilities.
I told him to call me if there was anything I could do, but he quickly left the room without giving his name.
He left quickly. Welcome fruit?
There is one orange on the plate. The carpet is full of stains,
Which of these is a luxury hotel?
When I changed clothes and went to use the lounge, I mistakenly went into a paid lounge, and then I said too quickly that this was a paid lounge and that was a free lounge.
I was told that the free ticket was over there and I had to leave early.
I was also told that children weren't allowed in the lounge, so you couldn't enter.
The rules say that children must be under elementary school age, and it's only 3pm. Even when I talked about it, I was told that children were not allowed.
My daughter is in the first year of junior high school, is the same height as me, and looks solid, so I should have known.
I greet the night with a bad feeling
The futon was surprisingly flimsy and I couldn't sleep because it was cold, so I called and they added a thin blanket, but the futon was cheaper than any other hotel I've stayed at.
My daughter is well aware that the quality of the staff here does not match the price. We spent the night there, thinking that the fluffy futon at Moxy Soul Insadong where we had stayed the night before was better, and threw everything we had on it, including our coats and bathrobes, on top of the futon. It is abnormal to sleep in such a condition for that room for 100,000 yen.
I feel no respect at all, that's your first comment.Have you never stayed here?
From there, I spent 1 night and 2 days at what I thought was a really vulgar hotel.
I will never stay there again

They confidently sell rooms with dust rolling around in the rooms and soiled carpets to loyalty members and respond by saying that there is nothing they can do about it.
Because the rooms were full, it was not possible to change rooms while maintaining the view, and it was also not possible to upgrade rooms by paying an additional fee.
It is expected that the hotel staff was aware of the room condition, and other than the room view, the room quality and service quality were poor.
In conclusion, aside from the great view of the room, my personal opinion was that the cleanliness of the room, the service of the staff, and the service of the hotel breakfast restaurant were at the level of premium, entry-luxury service.
If you want to go to a truly luxurious hotel in Seoul, whether for sightseeing or relaxation, go to Four Seasons Seoul, Park Hyatt Seoul, Grand InterContinental Parnas Seoul, Josun Palace Seoul, JW Marriott Seoul, Conrad Seoul, and Sofitel Seoul.
Except for the room view, there is no better service than luxury hotels in Seoul, and the room rate is the most expensive among luxury hotels in Seoul.

It was cold, but as soon as I entered the room, I felt like my body was melting as I received the optimal temperature, humidity, and service.
Even though it was snowing heavily and I couldn't see the night view or the outside scenery well, it was also a memory, and I was satisfied with the breakfast the next day as it was prepared in a variety of ways.
When using a hotel, not only is the room important, but the bathroom is also important, and it was nice that it was spacious and clean.
I intend to visit again and I think it is a place worth recommending to travelers!!

Once you step into the hotel, luxurious is the word that comes up to mind. Magnificent modern marbled interior with metallic accents everywhere, The setting might appear cold to some people but not to worry, the professional staffs are there to give you a heart warming welcome. Excellent service by the staffs.
Hotel room is squeaky clean, more of the marbled interior, if you are a person who loves taking photos for social media, you are in for a treat for some bragging rights. The hotel provided a welcome tea which was inviting and the hotel toiletries that they offer was by the brand Diptyque. The amount of detail so far was really impressive.
The view from the room was spectacular. you could see mountains from a far, buildings below you, nightlights from the bustling city life. Feeling is kind of like you are looking outside of a plane upon arrival into the country. Very peaceful and serene.
Overall, very impressed by the hotel, had a wonderful experience and truly enjoyed my stay here. Thanks to all the staffs that made it happen too.

The room I first visited was a little small, but I was very satisfied with its cleanliness and organization. When I went there, it was rainy, foggy, and clear, and the weather came and went, but I was able to enjoy a variety of views. I also felt that the swimming pool was well maintained. It was nice to have someone keep an eye on us and kindly guide us. I didn't encounter many employees, but I met the cleaning person in front of the elevator and he greeted me first, which made me feel really good. I think the only thing that is disappointing about Signiel is the parking lot. I think we need more exit guidance ^^;
