After 2 weeks of travel around South Korea, ENA was the best of 3 hotels we have stayed in Seoul and it wasn't even the most expensive one. We arrived in Seoul early in the morning so we knew we wouldn't be able to check into the hotel yet since check-in was at 3pm. We left our bags at the hotel and roamed around the area for a bit. However due to the hot weather and the fact that we had an overnight flight and couldn't rest well for more than 24 hours, we were completely exhausted and decided to return to the hotel. We would have been happy to sit in the air-conditioned lobby to wait for our rooms but decided to ask whether it was possible to check in early. The staff told us that out of the 2 rooms we have booked, only one room was ready at that time and asked whether we would like that room first and to give us the other room at 3pm. We were so happy to take up the offer, esp since we had someone elderly with us and we just couldn't walk around anymore. We just want to express our thanks to the staff for being understanding and did their best to help.

The room was very spacious and modern. The bathroom was very designed and clean. The beds were comfortable. The housekeeping were excellent and done thoroughly each day. The gym was also clean and pretty well equipped. The staff were helpful when we had questions and tried hard to solve our issues despite sometimes having difficulties with communication in English.

Other than that, the hotel is located in a central convenient location, close to public transport, restaurants and shops. It was closed some a few large office buildings so during rush hours, there would be loads of office workers walking around the area. However after office hours, the area would become more restful. The hotel is situated on a short slope so be ready to lug your luggage a bit if you are getting to the hotel via subway.

We stayed at the hotel during the last week of November and were very happy. The rooms are comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms nice, with strong rain showers.

I've read some reviews that the hotel is not easily reachable, being on small side streets, but that is nonsense. Taxis easily reach the hotel, and the hotel is just a 5- minute walk from main avenues on either side, as well as a 5-minute walk to the number 9 entrance to the number 1 and 2 lines of the superb Seoul metro.

While it is true that the hotel only offers a limited breakfast (not a buffet) at its restaurant, there are many very good breakfast and inexpensive dining options next to the hotel. There is a new burger place in front of the hotel; a 7-11 type convenience store, CU Soon, down the street; and a delicious bakery, Ellie's Pies, around the corner. There are quite a few dining spots on the main streets near the hotel.

The staff was particularly helpful when our flight from Seoul was cancelled because of a snowstorm overnight on November 28 at Incheon Airport, and we were stuck until November 30. The hotel graciously allowed us to stay for an extra two days.

I highly recommend this hotel. I would stay there again.

Location is great (short walk, around the corner subway City hall, exit 9, weather was very hot and humid so we used sometimes a taxi to get to our destination, which was very cheap due to the central location), lobby is small, but very friendly and helpfull staff and fast check in/out, no issues with noise (2nd elevator opposite of our room, but you didnt hear anything - your own floor is accessible with your room pass), beds are very comfortable and good size (we stayed in deluxe family room, with 1 queen, single bed and sofa - suited for us very well - 2 adults and 1 seven year old child), good free wifi (!), daily free coffee/tea/water bottles, small fridge, airco, very clean, several bakerys, restaurants (check small alleys as well!), banks (atms) and convenience stores nearby (half minute walking from hotel abd also on your way to the subway which we visited frequently). Fitness free and small laundry area available (coins). Nice (clean) swimmingpool/free towels and good showers, we didn't book/include breakfast as we always eat something small in the morning, so we went to paris baquette and starbucks (a few minutes walk). Only thing I might think about is to add a clear sign/direction from the main street (subway) to get to the hotel. We would definitely choose this hotel again.

Less

The noise, I had asked for a quiet room and if possible with a view. The assigned room overlooked a construction site where workers worked as early as midnight except on Sundays. Couldn't sleep.

Many guests do not respect their neighbors even after 22 hours (noises, screams...).

The lobby is tiny and yet this is where waiting customers’ suitcases pile up.

The housekeeper does the job very well, well done, but some places are inaccessible and concentrate dust.

For employees it depends but commonly they are professional.

In any case, for me far too much noise nuisance to come back to but as always it is up to you to judge!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul.
The hotel’s location is unbeatable—just a minute’s walk from City Hall Subway Station (green line), making it incredibly convenient for getting around the city. The Jung District views from my 9th-floor deluxe room were fantastic.
From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome. The receptionists were particularly helpful, even booking a return taxi for me on departure day. As an Expedia member, I enjoyed a 20% discount at the hotel’s Mediterranean restaurant, which was a nice bonus.
I stayed in a deluxe room that was impressively spacious with very comfortable beds. Bath toiletries were provided and clean towels were given every day.
The Mediterranean hotel restaurant had good food options but with that being said, the breakfast selection could use some improvement.
The hotel is surrounded by plenty of food options, and its proximity to public transport makes it an ideal base for exploring the city.
There's a Korean BBQ opposite (can't remember the name but it was established in 1948) which was probably the best food we had on our trip, right on our doorstep!
Overall, this hotel combines a perfect location, excellent service and great amenities. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again when in Seoul.

Good location with a convenience store, Korean restaurants and a burger shop in the same alley. Only a couple streets from the main road which made it easy to get around but it was still quiet. The subway station was in walking distance and we could also comfortably walk to Deoksugung Palace and Seoul Plaza, and Myeongdong for dinner.

We had a family room and it was nice and spacious. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was clean and an adequate size.

There is a coin laundry on B1 with a machine to change your notes/coins, a separate machine to buy your detergent (500 krw) and 2 washers and dryers (I think it was 5000 krw per cycle). The gym and pool are on the same level so you could use either while your clothes are being washed/dried.

Staff were always friendly and greeted us as we came and went. There is also a Wow Pass machine in the lobby and a separate machine to book airport transfers.

We had reserved a room for two adults and our child, but a twin room. We are used to be offered an extra bed in Europe for our child when booking a twin room, usually for a small additional charge. But we did not remember to make sure if there is an extra bed available in advance. As we arrived at our hotel room, we noticed, that our daughter does not have a extra bed. We went to reception and asked about it. The receptionist was very rude and told us that we have only made a reservation for two beds, so we only have to beds. She was not interested in helping us out with the situation. Luckily another receptionst came to help and told that we could have bedclothes for an extra fee to make a bed on the sofa. The extra fee of around 45 euros was pretty much for only the bedclothes without a real extra bed. And we got only a blanket and a pillow. As I went later again to the reception to ask for a bedsheet, there was yet another receptionist, who was very polite, and would have given all the bedclothes for no extra fee. This was our family's first trip to South Korea and of course we were extremely disappointed in the service of this hotel. It is understandable, that we should have asked for the extra bed in advance, but I have never encountered such hostile service at a reception of a hotel.

Upon arrival at the hotel at 11 am, they just checked my passport for reservation and not doing anything about it. My passport was returned back and they asked us to come back at 3pm for the check in process. We left our luggaes there and roam around the areas. There were many stores like mini mart, coffee shors, cafe, kareoke around the hotel whic was very convinience. Easy for us to find anything we like around that area. Upon checked-in, none of the staff bother to show us around where the room are and help to carry out luggages up. We have to do it. We travelled in afamily of small kids, hence we have 3 L size luggaes and 2 M size uggaes to move aroud to our room. How not convinience was that. The rooms are very cozy. The toilet were very nice expecially in the master room. The second room had a toilet out side of the room. It was ok since only my 12 years old son is using it. but the aminities were complete. I would rate that their service level is moderate. They could improve it further especially the front desk. We had no issues with the house keeping who always roam around in the corridor. They are always very smiley and helpful. Always offering us anything that could make our stay more comfortable. I rate their house keeping 5 stars. As for the front-desk, I would rate them 2.5 out of 5 stars. A lot of improvement required for this hotel. Will I come back and stay here again? NO. For the price that I have paid, I rather go somewhere else.

The service is commensurate with the size of the lobby, non-existent. This hotel doesn't deserve so many stars. You are asked to pay to access the swimming pool, to have an extra pillow and there is no office area to put your belongings or suitcases.

Well located walking distance to Myeong-dong shopping area. Clean and quiet. Comfortable bed and spotless washroom. Be careful when showering as water accumulates around shower and spills onto drain which is on the floor outside of bathtub. Can get slippery.
Hotel breakfast posted hours do not ressemble what we experienced. Post in elevator showed breakfast until 10:00 am and we were refused entry as worker told us kitchen closed at 9:30. Even front desk staff seemed puzzled by that.
Otherwise good 1 night stay on layover. Located approximately 45 min by taxi from Incheon airport.
