Stayed here for three nights during the winter. The hotel is a typical kind of korean motel, so dont expect anlot of service. But the room is self sufficient. The wifi is good. Breakfast is offered but not worth it. Beds are convenient.

As other reviewers mentioned the hotel staff is not necessarily skilled at English. Google translate on my phone was effective enough, and admittedly a Korean friend initially helped me check in when he dropped me off there. The room itself was excellent for what I paid. No view to speak of out of the window but I wasn't expecting much....

I had spent 4 nights at IMI Hotel in Gangnam area. Very convenient for me to access to COEX Exhibition centre. Good price and very good wifi in room. the LCD Tv was so great to enjoy my movies. Though it is a little hotel but they have everything you expect. Bedroom was small but ok for me. The bathroom...

I being an international traveller , non korean, faced a few problems 1.The reception staff did not understand english. So it was difficult to communicate 2. The breakfast served was just two slices of bread with milk . the approach to the hotel front was quite a dissapointment . Good points 1. The location is easily approachable 2. A lot...

I stayed at the IMI hotel for 3 nights when attending a conference at the Seoul Coex. It is well located and close to 2 metro stations. The price was very affordable, the room was large and equipped with a large flat screen tv, many electronic gadgets, and a jacuzzi bath. The breakfast is included but rudimentary (toasted white bread...

Though the room had lots of things that normally wouldn't appear in a hotel room, like DVD player, computer, mini sterilizer cabinet, air cleaner, etc, I wouldn't say it a great place to stay unless you are a big fan of those things above. The most dispointing thing was that there was a light that would switched on once you...

It was a holiday in China and all the hotels in Seoul are taken up, esp the 4-5 stars. I have no choice but to book a budget one and my associates in Seoul got me this hotel without knowing anything about this place. For around USD80 its very cheap for a city like this. What you get is: -Clean...

I am impressed by this hotel. Paid less than KRW90,000/night for a double room and we stayed there for 4days. It is located about 5mins walk from Exit 1, Yeoksam station of Line 2 of Seoul metro. It’s a little tricky to find the first time as it is situated in the backlane. Walking past a 7-11 store and into...

Staying in Gangnam / Nonhyeon / Yeoksam

Neighbourhood Profile
Gangnam / Nonhyeon / Yeoksam
If you thought business and fun couldn’t mix, look no further than urban Gangnam and the nearby neighborhoods. On the surface, Gangnam comes off as a strictly business district with a plethora of high-rise office buildings jutting into the sky and the steady streams of office workers bustling about. But interlaced within are a string of shops, restaurants, bars, and other spots for entertainment. If Myeongdong is the generic meet-up and hangout spot north of the Han River, Gangnam is its answer for those on the south side. As evening comes, Gangnam comes alive with its countless neon lights attracting hordes of office workers, friends, and couples for food, drinks, perhaps a bit of singing at a noraebang, and more drinks. And the smattering of clubs around also draws plenty of folks looking to unwind and show off their moves on the dance floor. On weekends, the crowds gets bigger, the energy buzzes to a seemingly nonstop high, and Gangnam makes it clear why so many call Seoul the city that never sleeps.
