The hotel is located near the Yeoksam station in the neighbourhood of Gangnam. As others have commented it is a bit complicated to find, as it is not on one of the main streets. Once there, the first impression is not so good, as the only thing found when opening the door is a small hallway to a lift. Taking...

American couple - stayed for 4 nights I was EXTREMELY satisfied with my experience here. Highly recommend this as a low cost, high class substitute vs. larger chain hotels in the area. Details: Arrived at 9a after a red-eye flight, and they gave us a room immediately rather than normal 2p check-in time. No added charge. Room is very clean...

Very nice hotel! There was a relaxing spa bath in the bathroom and the hotel is very well-maintained and clean. The staff is very helpful. Even though it was late at night when we reached the hotel, the staff (Sorry I can't remember his name :() still walked us up to our rooms to brief us on how to utilise...

We have been there in February 2014. The hotel is located in the centre. The hotel staff was really friendly and kind. The breakfast was not that good, however it was suitable for those who cannot eat Korean style breakfast.

Nox Hotel is a gem! I almost cancel when I read some negative reviews but as it a non cancellation booking, I thought I w just give it a try. When I arrived, the front desk receptionist (note its at level 2 and there is no grd floor lobby so you have to bring your luggage up and down yourself)...

Nox is a smaller hotel, not that many rooms. It's just off the main road but you would never see it without looking. I understand why everyone in S. Korea uses nav devices. Stayed for 3 nights in January. Big room, comfy bed, great sound system for music or tv (free movies available). In our case we had a stream...

The best part of the room was the bathroom, big tub, big Mirror, very modern. The shower was not a seperate room so the water ran onto the bathroom floor and drained in the middle. The room was small but clean. Not much leg room and not much room for luggage. Staff was very friendly and helpful!!!

We came here on our first trip to South Korea and we were surprised. It's in the heart of Gangnam so the food around was a little bit more expensive but we were prepared for that. The people that worked there were amazing. They helped us not got lost and sat down with us suggesting all the places we should...

Staying in Gangnam / Nonhyeon / Yeoksam

Neighbourhood Profile
Gangnam / Nonhyeon / Yeoksam
If you thought business and fun couldn’t mix, look no further than urban Gangnam and the nearby neighborhoods. On the surface, Gangnam comes off as a strictly business district with a plethora of high-rise office buildings jutting into the sky and the steady streams of office workers bustling about. But interlaced within are a string of shops, restaurants, bars, and other spots for entertainment. If Myeongdong is the generic meet-up and hangout spot north of the Han River, Gangnam is its answer for those on the south side. As evening comes, Gangnam comes alive with its countless neon lights attracting hordes of office workers, friends, and couples for food, drinks, perhaps a bit of singing at a noraebang, and more drinks. And the smattering of clubs around also draws plenty of folks looking to unwind and show off their moves on the dance floor. On weekends, the crowds gets bigger, the energy buzzes to a seemingly nonstop high, and Gangnam makes it clear why so many call Seoul the city that never sleeps.
