What's the most important thing you need from a hotel? Clean, modern, and spacious room? Check, check, and check. Well-staffed lounge with food and drink you actually will eat, in a setting you will actually enjoy? Check and check. The Intercontinental COEX checks all the boxes, and yet there's more. It's beyond just "service" - it's a commitment to the...

Intercontinental Hotels in Asia are always a good bet and the CoEx Interconti is no exception. I was directed to the Ambassador check- in and given room 2356, a northeast- facing room. The room was spacious, well- equipped and very clean. Two rare things these days: they not only turned down the bed when I was out for dinner, they...

I've stayed in a few hotels in Seoul, this is the best hands down. Heating was great and powerful in winter, room was spacious and clean, as was the toilet. A few power outlets by work desk, decent size for work. Free WiFi in room only if you sign up with them as a member (which is free). Very good...

The hotel is pretty nice as well as very well located. I was attending a meeting at Coex and is very comfortable you do not even need to exit the building. You also have access to Coex mall for shopping. The if you go around outside you have a nice place in Gangnam as well as great restaurants and places...

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. For us it was a good location - especially with the huge shopping centre "downstairs". The receptionist was super - I had made a reservation for the wrong date - but he helped in a super way - Thanks! We got very good advice from the concierge - advising us to...

I love this hotel and I love the exceptional service they give. This hotel is the main reason why I signed up for the IHG Platinum Ambassador Rewards. They really go above and beyond when it comes to value, customer service, and providing a great product.

Last month I had a chance to have a business trip to Seoul. As the hotel loyalty member, I chose Intercontinental Seoul COEX. Beside the location is nearby to the office I would visit, I also would like to have the hospitality of Intercontinental Hotel. Once I arrived, it was easy to tell the taxi driver to drive me this...

It is an interconti after all, so you do rightfully expect a good service and - indeed - for most of the part is is quite nice. The hotel limousine service is too expensive and the language skills of the drivers are limited to corean only too often - the bus is really good enough and stop may be at...

Both InterContinental has a great location right above the subway station. The Coex with newer room and friendly service. As an IHG rewards member, we enjoyed a lovely afternoon in the lobby, very relaxing. Overall I would say this a very good hotel and definitely going back.

Neighbourhood Profile
Samseongdong / COEX
A large business hub, Samseongdong is anchored by Korea’s World Trade Center, where many important business exhibitions and meetings are held. The enormous COEX mall sprawls underground, providing a myriad of things to do and see, including a large aquarium and movie theater.
