Great location, great bar, great hotel. Exactly what you expect. Was here multiple times and would be my first choice in Seoul again. The only downside is that you neet to go a little further to get to some restaurants, but that area is not too far - maybe 10 minutes by foot.

Very nice and helpful staff taking care for you all the time. Rooms are very clean and in a good condition. Breakfast at second flour is rich and a good mixture out of Asian and Western style foods. I love their different kind of soups. Also the continental breakfast in flour 16 is ok and could be adapted to your...

I stayed here with my wife during the busy Chuseok holiday. Packed hotels usually result in slower, inefficient service. We were surprised to find at Novotel a staff dedicated to offer the best service we have experienced so far in Korean hospitality. Meeting Maxime (a French speaker who seems to be everywhere at once) was a definite plus. He made...

The hotel itself is definitely a Novotel standard. Decently priced and comfortable. Conveniently located near the Shin-Nonhyeon station. Not in restaurant dense area though, we bought some food from 7-11 sometimes. Another plus of the hotel is they have pillow selections, I always take advantage of this and hotels with such services will definitely get extra points from me...

I was in Seoul for several days for a conference at this hotel so elected to stay there. I have used Novotel before and found them a little soulless - clean but clinical. This one was much better than I expected. The room wasn't large but was well appointed and very modern, with a beautifully set up bathroom. There are...

Terrific place for business travellers. The hotel is located right in the heart of Gangnam and is close to all the business buildings in the vicinity. So if you are travelling to South Seoul for work, i would highly recommend this hotel. The prices are reasonable in comparison to other hotels in the area, the staff is very professional. Breakfast...

PROS (1) bistro, a hotel restuarant, located in Ground floor, has a variety of disches, including western & Korean style. (2) Novotel cakes and breads are tasty and less sweet. They tastes good & healthy. I bought many pieces of Novotel cakes. All people liked cake, in particular, castella cake. (3) Novotel beds are very comfortable to sleep on. (4)...

Staying in Gangnam / Nonhyeon / Yeoksam

Neighbourhood Profile
Gangnam / Nonhyeon / Yeoksam
If you thought business and fun couldn’t mix, look no further than urban Gangnam and the nearby neighborhoods. On the surface, Gangnam comes off as a strictly business district with a plethora of high-rise office buildings jutting into the sky and the steady streams of office workers bustling about. But interlaced within are a string of shops, restaurants, bars, and other spots for entertainment. If Myeongdong is the generic meet-up and hangout spot north of the Han River, Gangnam is its answer for those on the south side. As evening comes, Gangnam comes alive with its countless neon lights attracting hordes of office workers, friends, and couples for food, drinks, perhaps a bit of singing at a noraebang, and more drinks. And the smattering of clubs around also draws plenty of folks looking to unwind and show off their moves on the dance floor. On weekends, the crowds gets bigger, the energy buzzes to a seemingly nonstop high, and Gangnam makes it clear why so many call Seoul the city that never sleeps.
