Great Stay, very comfortable and friendly staff. Hotel had good facilities for health and fitness. Room had a nice workplace with very good internet connection. Great Service ....19,000 KRW for one cup of ginger tea was a little bit expensive. :(

Wow. The lobby of the Imperial Palace is a visual riot: fountains, sculptures, faux finishes everywhere, and none of it particularly coherent. (I also stayed when what I hope is a temporary display of mirrored comic book heroines were on display -- think a full size Catwoman, made of reflective tiles, rotating slowly in front of you). The rooms are...

We stayed here while visiting family and friends in Seoul. First week staying at the grand Hyatt was a joke with very poor inconsistent service and it was such a pleasant change to receive great service by the imperial hotel staff which definitely made up for our first week. Reservation staff Amy Kim was excellent and so efficient! She was...

My beautiful wife and I booked the supposedly best room in this hotel, a corner suite on the VIP floor, for 2 nights, looking forward to our romantic time together. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, our nightmare began. We got off our car, but the attendant didn't say hello or take our luggages and belongings. So I...

I was at Imperial Palace, Seoul for two nights from 10 to 12 March 2014. Found the property very warm and comfortable in the midst of its huge size and overwhelming old world palatial decor. Very royal and elegant! Having traveled the entire night and arriving at 9 AM at the hotel, nothing could have have been more delightful than...

Imperial Palace hotel is desperately trying to emulate a European style palace, but it just looks as if all the kitsch items imaginable are arranged here! After saying that and getting over the initial shock of a mirrored ceiling bedroom, it is incredibly comfortable and the staff are v obliging. Breakfast caters for both western and Asian tastes. An excellent...

My husband and I stayed at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Seoul for 4 nights in March 2014. A delightfully over the top, luxury hotel and as expected, service and staff were fantastic, room was spottlessly clean and super comfortable, and of course prices in the hotel bars and restaurtants were much higher than you'd pay anywhere else in Seoul.
