Cannot individually control heat or air in your room. Walls are paper thin.. Everything is SO expensive .. I stayed in the "Club" which are in the upper floors... But all of the club level amenities are down in the basement ... Go figure??!

As always Grand Hyatt Seoul exceeded my expectations. The new Grand Club is beautiful and the food variety is excellent. The Gold Passport lady who's desk is next to the check in area is 1 of the best at her job with a Hyatt I have ever met. She can fix a problem before it's a problem and she always...

Nice and big hotel which upgraded me to the executive floor for free. God selection of restaurants and services. Altough upgraded to executive room/suite, the interior were a bit rough and could use a good restauration.

Rooms are fine but location not walking distance to the popular shopping or dining areas. Nearest convenience store is a bit too far of a walk in my opinion in bad weather conditions. Poor water pressure from the shower and the fixtures a bit old. Tried the room service 2 times, food is just ok compared to other Grand Hyatt...

I like their room, clean and very cool. Room service is excellent and the food is great. Transport to the airport was a breeze. The swimming pool service attendants were on point while I was there. Will definitely go back to this hotel!

Every time I stay at this hotel I fall in love with it again. Even though it may be old it is elegant and comfortable I really like the layout of the room and the bed is so comfortable. I was only here for one night until my other hotel became available but I had a pleasant stay here whilst on a work trip. It was up a hill so not in the best location but there were plenty of taxis waiting outside the hotel. The room had a nice view and was quite homely, not that big overall....

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your flattering review! We were truly pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. Located on Mt. Namsan, we also run a free shuttle bus service down to Itaewon and Myeongdong area so that could be another option other than taxi depending on what you prefer as your transportation. Thank you...

Staying in Itaewon

Neighbourhood Profile
Itaewon
Neighboring the immense Yongsan American Garrison, Itaewon was once shunned by locals as a seedy, red light district. But within the past few years, Itaewon and its surrounding neighborhoods such as Kyunglidan and Haebangchong have undergone a major revival to quickly become one of Seoul’s hottest areas. Here, trendy international restaurants dot the area alongside hip lounge bars and some of Seoul’s hottest club venues. After dark, Itaewon comes into its own as one of Seoul’s top party scenes. The crowd is a fascinating patchwork of all backgrounds and identities, including a small but thriving Muslim community (centered on Korea’s sole mosque), the LGBT community (with a string of popular bars and clubs), and a wide range of ethnicities and cultures scattered around. Those seeking a quiet respite should head towards the eastern end, in Hannam-dong, which not only has one of Korea’s best art museums, the Leeum Samsung Museum of Art, but plenty of mid-range to upscale restaurants and cafes.
