Great staff! Best location and views very central, almost in front of the palace in the heart of Seul. It is very clean and got gym, spa, pool and pool table. Got a rainy day, you would never feel it is boring if you're up here. Best place you could stay in Seul for sure

Great affordable option for short or long stay, large studios with all you need. Clean, well maintained, quiet, and right next to Insadong and the core districts of Seoul. Comfortable beds, functional bathrooms. Breakfast is ok. Excellent Italian restaurant on the ground floor.

this place is of great value. Quite close to many destinations, all in half an hour’s walk. the Anguk station is just around one hundred meters from the hotel, so you can easily tranfer to other metro lines. The room facility is good and useful.

The Service residence is well located and the apartment is spacious but the standard apartment that I was allocated was very outdated especially the bathroom. Still with hot and cold taps, poor water pressure and water ran hot and cold. Toilet difficult to flush, usually needed a few tries and the flushing handle was loose. At first I thought it...

The property is very well located and is just a few minutes walk to the main palaces and a number of subway stations. It is starting to show its age though, as the rooms, while still perfectly alright, do feel a bit old and worn. Renovation is certainly needed to keep up with the other hotels around the area. In...

At least I can say that.. I've stayed at least 10 times and am not going to stay here again. Level of services was not fit for its name. Staying in Gwanghwamun / Jongno

Neighbourhood Profile
Gwanghwamun / Jongno
If Gwanghwamun is the unofficial living room of Seoul, Jongno is the main hallway connecting some of Seoul’s most important historic sites and neighbourhoods. Being one of Seoul’s oldest neighbourhoods, the area is rich with history and culture in its palaces, shrines, and temples. Stand in the centre of Gwanghwamun Square with Gyeongbokgung Palace and Mt. Bugak in front of you, King Sejong the Great statue behind you, and modern office buildings encircling you—it’s one of the best ways to experience both past and present Seoul in one spot. The main street of Jongno is mostly dotted with restaurants and cafes, but explore deeper within its intricate alleys to pass decades-old restaurants, mom-and-pop shops, and pojangmachas (tents that open at night for quick bites and drinks) and life seems to run just as it did a decade or two ago. Don’t forget to stop at Gwangjang Market, Korea’s oldest traditional market, where it’s just as fun to explore as it is to eat the affordable market dishes that locals have been enjoying since the market first opened in 1905. For a break from urban life, walk along the restored Cheonggyecheon Stream that runs parallel to Jongno for a moment of natural refuge in metropolitan Seoul.
