I stopped at this hotel while visiting developments in the area and was very impressed overall. Such a huge beautiful property with diverse facilities. Luxurious interiors and elegant landscapes. The hotel is brand new, so everything is spotlessly clean and shining.

We had lunch at the Egyptian restaurant and the food was very delicious. The service was also good, even though the place was absolutely empty and we just showed up without reservation.

I didn't like the attitude of one of the managers at the reception, who suddenly started addressing me in russian in the middle of Arabic conversation. What did he mean by this, if he didn't even know where I am from? I found it so inappropriate for a hotel of such level!

The location of the hotel is right now in the middle of the desert, but the city is being built around so it will be very exciting to come again after a while and see how fast it is developing.

Overall this hotel is great for MICE or for a leisurely weekend out of noisy Cairo. I would love to come again some day.

My family and I stayed here in late December for 3 nights. The property is massive with well maintained rooms, an excellent gym/spa, and a very caring and helpful staff. The restaurants are really good - particularly breakfast - with excellent service that continuously tries to anticipate your needs/wants. While the property is about 45-60 mins away from Old Cairo, it is very quiet and serene. For us, given the dense population of Cairo and general concern for COVID, we sincerely appreciated the location. Egypt left us with many fond memories and our stay here is definitely among them.

I am now completing my second night of a two night stay and have had an amazing time. The level of service, the food and my room were all perfect. The staff work incredibly hard to ensure that all their guests are well looked after, given the location of the hotel, they clearly spend a huge portion of their working day travelling to/from the venue and each and every one of them need to be commended for this. The facilities are very well maintained and the resort is spacious with stunning gardens and pools. I ate in both the Egyptian and Italian restaurants and the food was so tasty with exemplary service complementing the experience. I also had buffet breakfast each morning and I enjoyed this immensely. If you have not experienced this hotel yet, it is a must.

The place is luxurious and quiet fancy but the staff is unprofessional and seems to be inexperienced. The reception desk was unfamiliar with the rooms rate and was unhelpful in selecting and finding out what we want.

The rooms are spacious and well furnished and everything is brand new

The minibar was empty and when we ordered milk from in room dining the said they don’t have milk packs and will get us a glass or a pot of milk which never came.

At dinner the food was good but the waiters were either clueless or too awkwardly friendly.

Generally the place has an uncomfortable vibe as you feel a sense of stiffness.

Room Tip: Location is quite secluded and a lot of construction around it literally in the middle of no where.

Liked · Very good breakfast. Affordable room service and excellent quality. Great heated indoor pool. Room had plenty of tv channels and toilet provided with lots of toiletries. The bed and pillow was lovely.

Disliked · Pickup from airport which was prearranged with hotel but was 90 mins late. The location is 1hr from the city centre and they charge $100 one way. No careem or Uber in the location so you are forced to give in. To put it into perspective, we found a driver who drove us round for 12 hours for $60 so sort this out beforehand. There's not much to do in the hotel and it's shocking they charge for tennis, football, billiards, and table tennis. Closest mall is 35 minutes away.

Good quality food & consistent service. Had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant for several days, have no complaints. Food is fresh and service is attentive. The restaurant has access to the lobby and swimming pool. It’s big enough that it’s hardly feels crowded even at peak times

Worst experience ever stayed in a hotel, the facilities are great of course but the service should be rated less than 1 star.
I arrived at 3:00 PM and had to wait for 45 minutes to get a room, they said the room was ready but they had to check it, during the 45 minutes no one even tried to apologize and the attitude was really bad.
I arrived late from the event I was attending, I ordered food, they said it would take 50 minutes at least, the guy came with no card machine, it took him 20 minutes to get, it was 2 AM already.
The second day I left the sign for my room to be cleaned since 11:00 AM, I instructed the receptionist twice just in case , i came back to the room at 19:00 and i found the cleaners in the room still cleaning it, I called the front desk manager, he apologized and asked me to give him time to solve it, 1 hour later he offered me an upgrade which I refused, I was checking out the next day.
Now I am in the room and the TV is broken, I won’t even call because it will take an hour to come and check it.
Not to mention that the bathtub was leaking, I had to call twice for them to come, and the infinite number I called the hotel with no response.
The hotel clearly is short staffed but they shouldn’t be allowed to operate, it is a scandal that it is called a St. Regis, the service is by far the worst that I have seen in a hotel , and I am a frequent traveler.

This hotel is stunning. In true St Regis Style, it did not fail to please aesthetically however, the overall service was not superb. Being a Marriott Titanium member and having stayed at many hotels alike, the service needs to be on par with other St Regis hotels. Unfortunately, there was a bit of language barrier. The management and staff at the spa were unhelpful and did not tend to the needs of their guests. The spa only opened at 1pm and had NO available appointments yet the hotel did not even have 50% occupancy. My teenage children were under age and denied access to the spa fascilities even under parental supervision. This was definitely a first for us. The hotel is quite far out and a drive to most tourist destinations so we booked at this location primarily to see the new capital (which is mostly under construction) and make use of the spa which we were unable to do. If you are in Cairo as a tourist, perhaps choose a location more central to tourist destinations as the drive back and forth took us an hour each way. I’m sure once the capital is fully developed and running, this would be amongst the better hotels to stay at but for now, it’s not the ideal location for tourists.

Staff are so helpfull & friendly , the hotel is generally spotless clean , and for the food sure you will enjoy delicious international breakfast at the Montego restauran , also their open buffet for dinner were extremly amazing taste & variety . Thanks to Chef Soliman & Mr. Mohamed.

Also they have variety of restaurants such as Italian rest. & Alkhedewi for grills and egyptian specialized food.

Just little entertainment at night is required to make the stay more joyable.

Finally its amazing place for 2nd time.

Thanks to all

This hotel definitely does not qualify as a St Regis 5* experience. The front desk charged us extra money for no apparent reason and insisted we pay it although it was not included in our reservation. They claimed that we need to pay supplement for the 3rd and 4th guests in a 2 bedroom apartment that should house up to 6 individuals, and blamed it on booking.com. Extremely disappointing experience and not 5* treatment by any means. I will not be returning here again. I’d like to especially mention a manager by the name of Islam el shafee who was extremely rude and told me he doesn’t care if I wrote bad review and I should go ahead. Truly stunned by the lack of hospitality.

Unfortunately no sabering to open the evening at Al Masa. There is wine and beer on the menu, however, not a lot promoted. I did not request butler service, you’d have to check with the hotel.
