clean, and central location. the ground entrance and elevator look dodgy, but once you on the 6th floor, everything looks OK. nice and helpful staffs. hotel pick-up was my good choice; 1) small/old sign which you might NOT notice it for the 1st timer. 2) excellent rate by cecilia 150egp and we used uber later on for 110egp - so...

Its a clean nice place to stay. Walking distance from the Tahrir Square and the Cairo Museum. The bathroom is inside the room in a strange manner but is clean. Rooms are spacious. They help you with taxis to the airport at a reasonable rate if you need one. However Uber is always the cheapest option.

Cecilia Hostel is in a good location where public transport (taxi, etc); supermarkets; cafe's/fast-food restaurants (Beanos, Cilantro, Pizzahut) are a walk away. The hostel is quite near to the museum and the other exquisite buildings of downtown as well. I enjoyed my stay here and I would definitely book a room here again seeing how clean and spacious my room...

The so called bathroom was a box containing a toilet sink and shower, no roof so everyone in the room can hear everything..the shower was right next to the toilet. No dividing screen so the toilet gets soaked every time. Cleanliness was a problem. Our room...

The location is very good in downtown Cairo but that's all. The building is falling apart and the general maintenance of the place is poor. The staff looks friendly but not helpful: I asked a taxi and they told me to get one on the street just waving at it, I ended up arguing with the driver that took me...

How you would rate it depends on what kind of traveler you are and what you expect. First time I was with a friend. The second time I was there myself to do some business in Cairo. Things I remember: 1. Very basic breakfast. I would get falafel or hamburgers somewhere else. 2. Free Wifi--although sometimes slow or unstable 3....

The hostel location is perfect, you can walk by yourself to tahir square and museum. The room was very simple but very cleaned and comfortable. The first impression is not so good because the reception is very decadent, but arraiving in the room you abandons this bad impression
