The Ramses Hilton garners mixed reviews, with its prime location offering stunning Nile views and easy access to attractions earning accolades from guests. While many visitors appreciate the hotel's elegant atmosphere, complete with live piano music, and extensive amenities like a diverse breakfast and lounge options, some suggest that the rooms could benefit from updates to address noise issues and dated decor. The hotel's service is generally celebrated for its attentiveness, though experiences can vary. Despite occasional feedback on room cleanliness and upkeep, the overall cleanliness is praised.

This January end, we visited Cairo and chose to stay at Ramses Hilton, Cairo. Located about 30-40 minutes’ drive from the airport, the hotel is very stylish and modern. The check in at the reception was quick and shortly we were shown into our room on the 21st floor, with a Nile River view, as per our booking. The view was amazing. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with adequate lighting. The bathroom was very clean and had all the desired amenities. The house keeping staff were very friendly and efficient.
The buffet breakfast served in the hotel contained a variety of items, but sadly not many options for vegetarians, especially Indian. Other than the standard fruits, the only item spotted by us was noodles which were very dry. Bread toast/jam and pastries seemed the other option. Maybe a few more veg items would have made our first meal of the day an enjoyable affair. However, the service was impeccable, all the staff were very caring and efficient. Special mention about Ahmed Salah, the captain at the restaurant, who remembered the type of tea and the way we have and used to get it the moment he spots us and Doaa at the restaurant reception, who always welcomed all guests with a smile.
There was also an Indian restaurant named Namaste on the same floor, but they do not serve breakfast. However, we had dinner over there once and the food was everything in veg that we desired to eat and was yummy. The staff were welcoming and very gracious.
Overall, the stay at this hotel was a very good one and we can recommend it to our fellow travelers. We would like to add that the next time, we come to Cairo, we would surely check into this hotel again.

Just everything you would expect from Hilton and more. Being Egypt, local custom dictates that nothing is too much trouble. Say what you need and the staff will do everything possible to make it happen. We're talking 100% for cleanliness and hygiene, the very best food and wine, a pool that is perfectly heated all winter to 28c and extremely kind friendly staff who very much want that you should love being a Hilton guest in Cairo. The location is impeccable and you can walk to the museum in minutes you want a towel sculpture of an elephant? This is the place to stay :) You want the very best service? Leave it to Akram Ramzy Dahab Emain and his team in the Executive Lounge, who will ensure that you enjoy everything about your stay. We're so very glad we chose Hilton Ramses for our Cairo city break.

We stayed three nights and got our beds made and our towels changed the third day at five in the afternoon when the day before we asked reception to at least change our towels very friendly.ente told us that we would not worry about them being raised right away but no case. As a hospitality worker I think a hotel that is supposed to be of a higher category doesn't control these things. The cleaning control we thought should be better. The restaurant is small for the number of people swl hotel, it is difficult to get table and little variety.

The hotel was not chosen by us as the trip was an already defined package. The location is panoramic but absolutely inconvenient and far from a walking area. Without places to eat or shops where you can simply buy something such as snacks or drinks. It is located in front of an important and very busy crossroads, there are no traffic lights or pedestrian crossings to be able to cross in peace. Everyone drives without respecting the rules, people overtake, honk and improvise risky maneuvers. We couldn't cross to get to the banks of the Nile. In front of one of the entrances there is a small shopping centre, old, poorly maintained, no mini market but only shops for locals. After 5 minutes we willingly left, we were the only tourists. Walking on the hotel sidewalk there are only improvised kiosks, dirty and sunny. We managed to get a packaged ice cream and eat it standing in the chaos. Another negative note are the elevators. 6 elevators of which only 3 work, for a 30-storey hotel it is shameful. On average we waited up to 20 minutes. The outdoor pool area is nice, although too small for the hotel. They provide beach towels. The view of the Nile was pleasant, but it was unpleasant to see all the rubbish bags below in the garden leaning against the fence, containing dry shrubs and other materials, abandoned for a long time given their conditions. Inside the hotel there is a bank to make exchange, there is a casino and small souvenir shops. There are several restaurants, we only tried the one on the ground floor, there is always a pianist in the evening, the waiters were kind and the food was appreciated. There are no sofas in the hall, at least they are there but not enough. The room was large, 2 queen size beds, a sitting area, a small balcony and an area for hot drinks with a kettle. There are always 2 free bottles of water in the fridge. The bathroom is large, new, comfortable, good linen. The hairdryer must be requested at reception.

Located in a prime location, the on-site restaurant provides a top-notch experience that combines a luxurious atmosphere with excellent service. The menu is diverse and quality, featuring dishes for everyone, with a focus on fresh ingredients and distinctive flavors. The service is fast and professional, with staff catering to guests with a smile. The setting is elegant and comfortable, adding a touch of luxury to the experience. It''s recommended for family meals or special occasions thanks to its distinct atmosphere, and it''s reasonably priced compared to the service and quality provided. Ms. Sherhan was outstanding in providing service, showing special attention to customer comfort and her smile added a positive dimension to the experience.

The filthiest disgustingly dirty bedroom I’ve ever seen or experienced in my life in any part of the world.

For evidence, please see the pictures and the video I’ve uploaded .

I asked for the Duty Manager to come to my room, Shaimaa Mohahamed the Manger came along with a security guard. Firstly she didn’t introduce herself or the accompanied male with her. I asked her if she was the manager and her name as her name badge was on upside down so I couldn’t read it. Then she said the mail is her security guard..
She agreed room was disgusting me dirty and move me and upgrade me to an executive room, I asked to see the room, I went with her and the security guard to see a room on the 12th floor, this room had supposedly recently been refurbished and was a better standard as she told me, in fact it was filthy dirty as well.
She then asked if she could send the cleaners to clean my room for me she said it wouldn’t take long . I refused because able to take at least a couple of hours to clean the room and it was already approaching 11 pm at night and I had a 5 am start in the morning..
Suffered me drink and food naturally I declined being so late at night and I had already eaten . She said all she could do then was apologise and let her manager know of the situation.. I said to her an apology it’s not acceptable more needs to be done.

Our family of 4 stayed at the Hilton Ramses from the 1st - 8th Aug. One of us is a special needs wheelchair bound lady.

I would like to thank Mr Tariq at the reception desk who helped us with the checkin formalities, Ms Fatma at the Hilton Honours desk who helped sort out our room and dining in issues and Mr Ahmed el Gamal, the restaurant manager who went above and beyond to ensure that our dinner was as per our requirements. The hospitality and service of every staff member at the hotel was commendable and they made sure our stay was comfortable.

The breakfast buffet spread was delicious.

We really appreciated the accessible room that was made available for the special needs person. It was exactly as needed -

One suggestion - Please make sure the washroom flooring is 2mm decline towards the drain so that water from the shower area does not flow outside the washroom.

Also there should be no plants near the wheelchair ramp at the entrance of the hotel. The ramp also needs to be a little wider than present.

We look forward to the opportunity to visit Cairo again - preferably during the cooler months and to experience Hilton hospitality again.

I've stayed at this hotel many times, but the rooms have been renovated, and I wonder where I'm staying. The interior has become smarter and more comfortable. There is a safe, minibar, electric kettle, and a Nespresso, which wasn't there before. Of course, you can see the Nile from the balcony. The bathroom has also been nicely renovated and is bright and clean. However, the bathtub is gone, only a shower... As for the amenities, they are Crabtree & Evelyn as before. But they have changed from small bottles to dispensers. Is this a policy of Hilton headquarters? Is it an eco-friendly measure? There are toothbrushes, shaving sets, cotton swabs, and cotton, but the body loofah seems to have disappeared. The executive lounge has changed from the 26th floor to the Ramses Lounge on the 29th floor. Snacks are the same as before. There is no wine as before, but they will provide it if you order it. In terms of service, the welcome fruit and gifts for GOLD members were forgotten, and I was almost charged for snacks that were not there from the beginning... It may have been just this time, but there were more noticeable mistakes than before. The accommodation fee is twice as much in dollars as it was before COVID.
Because the yen is weak, it is three times as much in yen. The cost performance has become much worse.

The hotel is located close to the main points of interest in Cairo.
Which makes it a good choice.

A family of 5, we’re sorry that our two bedrooms are not next door, 30 meters away that’s a shame... Even floor is already that!

It is aging and displays a luxury of another time.

Nevertheless there is a staff with little care, the concierge, breakfast exceptionally well stocked that could make you forget the lunch!

Everything is fresh, made on site, an impeccable service!

Room staff who do really well are discreet and efficient work, feeling like having the room for the first time every day.

The gym is really light, nothing for legs in machines, the rest does the job. That's enough to give us good confidence.

Didcade has Wahab the concierge who managed a lost baggage by Turkish Airline and deliver 48 hours after arrival...

And Dahab for his breakfast service.

There are two executive lounges at the Ramses Hilton. One is for families with children and the other is the adult lounge. If you have access to these lounges they offer refreshments and beverages throughout the day. The adult lounge offers hot appetizers and beer and wine for a designated time.
