Le Méridien Cairo Airport offers a delightful atmosphere and is often commended for its well-appointed rooms and vibrant events, although isolated comments mention disruptive noise. The service receives mixed feedback; while many guests experience professionalism and friendliness, others encounter slow service. The hotel's cleanliness and convenient airport location garner positive remarks, making it a popular choice for those in transit.
Opinions on value are divided; some guests find the pricing fair, but others are less impressed. The amenities, including diverse dining options, a pool, and lounge access, are widely appreciated, as are the spacious rooms.

Okay let's go Good, bad, ugly again
The good: the hotel is beautiful and definitely something you would expect from the Marriott chain of hotels, checking in was fast, the portar took us to our room and was very willing to help and the room was kitted out with all the usual things such as a mini bar, kettle, complementary coffee and tea and 3 bottles of drinking water. The bed is super comfortable and there are is a good selection of international channels on the TV to choose from.
The breakfast has a massive range of international foods to choose from and the service in the restaurant is spot on. If you've not booked the breakfast with your booking you can pay on the day just be aware that you pay before you leave the dining room. We thought we would be billed at check out but we where chased by two staff as we left who ushered us back into the dining room to pay, not a big deal but something to be aware of.
The bad:
Nothing was really bad other than sign posting to the hotel. We arrived at the airport at 03:00 hours, that's is in the morning for those not working by 24 hour clock, and the reason why we booked le Meridiem was so we wouldn't have to travel far to our hotel after our late (early) flight however, Google sent us on a wander around (as in, on the outside..around around) terminal 3 whereas there is a lovely air-conditioned walk way from Terminal 3 right into the lobby of the hotel which is easy and good for guests, if you know where it is.
The Ugly:
Truly, there is no Ugly, this place did what you would expect and we left feeling rested and well taken care of.
Note:
If you decide to leave the hotel by Uber you will have to make your way across the road from the hotel and head to the Terminal 3 parking lot #B5 as for some reason the Uber drivers won't come to the front of the hotel.
All en all a lovely start to our Egypt adventure.

Choose Le Meridian if you need to be close to the airport without needing a taxi to get there! We arrived late in the evening and were pleased to experience a five-minute walk to the hotel check-in desk. Customer Service was 10 out of 10 for all the staff we interacted with, except one ( a bar manager who showed very little attention, almost rude, while he was managing paperwork at the snack bar checkout!!). Nonetheless, that didn't change our 5-star experience. Welcoming reception, accommodating conditions (late check out for our very late flight), free bus to a classy mall, held our luggage in a secure room between checkout and flight time, clean and spacious room, spectacular room service (meals provided on heated stand), ample & comfortable seating near reception, and very nice restaurants onsite. We enjoyed good Asian food (price $$ reasonable) while being entertained by a live harpist. Our room was overlooking the pool and the road but we didn't hear road noise at all. Not sure if the airport side would have been any different but next time we will take an airport view just for the fun of seeing planes come and go!

From the point of check in, it was an absolute disaster. Another customer was very upset at reception when I was checking in (he was complaining about the bad service). Unfortunately, I have experienced the same.
At check in, I was advised that if I did not like the room, I could have an alternative room as there was plenty of availability and to just take a look at the room first. When I returned to reception a few minutes later after taking a look at the room to say that I would prefer a more quiet room (the original room was facing the Carpark), I was told that I would need to pay 25USD for a different room by a different check in staff. I then reiterated that I am not asking for an upgrade in the type of room but simply a quieter room which I was originally assured that there was plenty of availability in the same category. After some discussion, this was finally done.
At dinner, I had issues of not being able to charge to the room because the check in staff did not pre authorise my card (again another failure in the check in team). I did not carry my wallet at the time as normally this would not be necessary especially when one has informed the check in team that they are having dinner at the Lebanese restaurant. Instead of handling the issue in a respectful manner, I was told that I would be ESCORTED to make payment as though I am some criminal rather than a guest at the hotel!! The team at the Lebanese restaurant/reception staff could have easily sent someone to my room in 10-15mins to make payments or it could have been handled in a more respectful manner. I am not even due to check out until tomorrow morning. It is not as though I am going to forfeit the night of accommodation that I have paid for in order to escape paying for dinner!! Furthermore my company hold a contract with the hotel and our staff normally stopover at this hotel before flying out.
Th duty manager was also less than helpful in her approach when the complaint was made. Instead of asking me directly what the issue was or even acknowledging me, she resorted to talking to Lebanese restaurant staff and started to make calls. Only after that did she acknowledge my presence.
I would highly advice anyone against staying in this hotel.
For the same price (or less), I would rather stay at the Hilton or Novotel nearby which has much better service and none of the stress as experienced here. I would be providing feedback to my company to consider an alternative hotel chain for future staff use.

We have stayed a handful of times at Le Meridien Airport. I have worked in hospitality all my life and it Literally pains me that simple procedures are asked too much in this property.
We always request connected rooms (subject to availability of course) but instead to block rooms its always left to last minute and our check in takes usually a minimum of 30 minutes.
This time I arrived at 2 am. I had requested pre check in night before, informed hotel about arrival time, double and triple checked only to arrive to find hotel fully booked. Instead of coming clean about it or perhaps even prepare alternatives, offer refreshments anything to lesssn the blow they let everyone sit for more than 1 hour in the middle of the night while housekeeping was working full swing. They tried to sell me on some nonsense excuse. If you can handle just a bit the software an oversell is no surprise. I got a room at 3.30 am. Which then resulted in an argument that i paid previous night to guarantee a room not to sit for 1.5 hours in middle of night, it kind of defies the purpose of a pre check in.
No further surprise that we ate without cutlery in a breakfast service that was beyond overwhelmed on next morning. Same story, if you know you are overbooked you can take steps to compensate on F&B level. I didn't book a local B&B i booked an international hotel chain with standards I do expect some basic standards in return. The duty manager and FO manager were incapable, poor complain handling skills and zero ability to resolve the situation. Not even to speak of the point that most of it would be preventable with proper management.
Internet hasn't worked in our 5 room nights of past 2 weeks.
Waiting staff in live bar was barely doing any work, we had to wait unreasonably long for any service from taking order, to paying.
Some staff shuffling around too casual.
The girl in the spa struck up a too personal conversation, inappropriate in that moment.
Other than being connected to terminal 3 this property has not much going with a steady decline in service and standard over past year. We will stay elsewhere from now on.

So easy to find as you exit the airport and accessed over a footbridge to no need for transport. Nice big bed clean room and as the virus is upon us everything was in sealed bags or was single use. Swimming pool warm and the loungers were sprayed with antibacterial spray so felt safe to use. Food in the sports bar was good, recommend the fish n chips . Would stay there again and advise others to do so.

I have a book for today the 9th but since it’s too early ( around 3 am) they told me it’s considered the 8th I told them I’m asking for early checkin in as a silver elite member and I don’t mind paying half day just like the late check out. The staff and duty manager refused they asked me to full day or stay till 6am in lobby then get the room. My mother is with me
And I mentioned to them we are here for a funeral and my mum has health problems but they both didn’t bother. At the end o just payed a full day for less then 6 hours and asked him to cancel the other booking. Both staff were not aware of the membership privileges, which is upon availability you can allow late check in and check out for members.
Last but not least after we payed and signed everything the staff mentioned all room are non smoking when I didn’t ask him for a smoking room so he mentioned he’s is obligated to tell us that, we’ll you should tell us before paying and doing the new booking now after giving me the key.
The duty manager name was ahmed mekhimar and the front desk staff was ahmed Hassan. They didn’t respect my mothers age and asked her to stay till 6am in reception or pay a full day, also he mentioned that members are not qualified to early check in if available

Just stayed for 2 nights at Le Meridien Cairo Airport. The property is very well maintained and the staff is very attentive. The location is perfect as I had a day trip planned from Cairo airport with departure in the early morning and arrival after midnight so cutting the commute time was perfect.
I have to thank everyone at EVOO restaurant for the excellent service, especially Evon who greeted everyone with a smile and a warm welcome and Moataz who was very attentive and went way and above to provide everything that was needed. Thanks again and see you soon.

We loved our stay at this hotel. We arrived late evening and walked out of the airport terminal across the connecting bridge straight into the hotel in 2 minutes. Wonderful and convenient! The hotel is lovely, modern and very clean. Our room was beautiful with amazing comfortable beds. The shower was bliss. The only negative is unfortunately we received a room with a inter-leading door and we could here the noisy family with their small children next door late at night when we tried to sleep, that was very disturbing. I should have asked to move rooms after we checked in but I was too tired. Make sure to avoid an inter-leading room.
The breakfast was delicious, with the most delicious and scrumptious variety of pastries we’ve ever had at a hotel. Excellent! Thank you to the pastry chef.
On the hotel premises I found The Latitude coffee bar. A must visit! They have the best coffee and most delicious pastry deli, everything looked amazing. I was served by Gergis and Reem who is extremely friendly and helpful, thank you for the great service. I went back twice to try out the pastries, it was heavenly and delectable.
The outside pool area is lovely to go and relax in, soft background music playing. You don’t feel like you at the airport, it’s so beautiful. It’s a stunning hotel. If I visit again I’ll just make sure to ask for a room with no inter-leading door.

We stayed here few nights while biding Cairo. It’s a great hotel close to the airport and escaping Cairo’s heavy traffic. Rooms are spacious. Arrive is good. Breakfast is excellent and the location close to the airport makes it great when you need to catch a flight.

Hi,
I suggest you write to their Guest Relations Head, Ms. Salma Hussien (Salma.Mohamed at lemeridien period com); TA doesn't allow posting of email IDs so I had to type it this way.
You can mention that you reached out to me. She was very helpful when I stayed there and may be able to work out a day rate for you.
Good luck.
Softdrinks and snacks are free of charge in club lounge. We also had breakfast there.
We didn't enjoy the happy hour, so I'm not sure exactly the case for this hotel. But based on normal cases, alcoholic drinks should be provided free of charge ONLY during the happy hour, such as 6:00pm-8:00pm. You'd better contact the hotel directly for more info.
You don't need to book a transfer, the People Mover takes you from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2, stopping at the mall and car park on the way. Then you have to exit Terminal 2 and walk a short distance to Terminal 3 departures and ask the guard to let you in.
Not sure about that. I had an Egypt visa at the time
