My Tour operator sold me Santana hotel as a 4 Star hotel, but I was suspicious about that, so after I arrived to the hotel I asked them to show me any official proof that the hotel is a 4 star hotel, however I was shocked when the guy at the reception told me that Santana hotel is only a... More

First off let me state Cairo is not a nice city. And although people say Dokki is a nice area, it's only nice by Cairo standards. So set your standards low, people. Egypt in general is not set up well for tourists doing their own thing. It's confusing and foreign and I HIGHLY recommend doing a full tour by a... More

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights at the beginning and end of a GAP tour. We felt lucky to get a remodeled room which was clean, well air conditioned, had a satellite television, and working refrigerator. In comparison, other rooms were dingy, smokey, and generally run down. While we were with our tour we received prompt... More

I stayed here as the beginning of a group tour and to be honest, I liked it. I was fortunate to receive a remodelled room with new furniture, satellite TV, and a clean and comfortable washroom. Just ask for a room on the fourth or fifth floor and you should be ok.

The hotel is in a fairly quiet street in Dokki. There was a large open foyer containing a couple of small souvenir shops. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. There was a restaurant on the ground floor and a cafe on the first floor. The room was drab but comfortable. A colour TV, a fridge and some sturdy furniture.... More

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a tour group. The first night, I got a crappy older room. It was dark and furniture was old. The bed was clean and there was warm water in the shower - which is all I really need for 1 night anyways. No cockroaches or any other bugs, thank God. The 2nd... More

My family and I stayed at this hotel with our tour group. Upon arrival we were suppose to have 2 rooms, but for some reason they had 'no idea' of this. So we got one room for the 3 of us, which im glad we did. this didn't bother us. we were then taken to our room by 2 employee's.... More

We were booked into the Santana by Imaginative. We didn't expect 5 stars, but we certainly weren't ready for the dirty, poorly maintained room that we were given. We were too tired the first night to complain, but complain the next day we did. We were then given a much better room. Still not 5, or 4 star, but what... More

The Santana Cairo. The Santana is located in what would have been a nice and peaceful street had there been no building construction across the road. The construction wouldn’t have mattered if it was done during the day, but at times they were still doing it when we went to bed at 9 o’clock sometimes even later. Upon arriving at... More

The Santana hotel is located in the Doqqi area of Cairo. It is on a quiet street away from traffic, but close enough to walk to downtown (20 min). The lobby and restaurant area is clean and nice. The hotel has remodeled the rooms on the fourth and fifth floors, these rooms were clean and modern with flat screen TV,... More
