The location is the best thing about this place. Lots of military outside because the army has headquarters in the neighborhood. The wifi was not workin' when we were there six months ago so expect no miracles on that front. We used the subway and buses to get around in Cairo/Gaza so the proprietor lost interest in us quickly. It's...

The bad: "Hotel" sees like a bit of a stretch. This would really be called a hostel anywhere else. The rooms were very basic, but mostly clean. The beds were semi-comfortable. If you're a smoke this place is great. If you don't smoke and the smell of smoke bothers you, I wouldn't recommend booking here. The owner basically sits in...

This hotel was a hidden jewel the service was excellent and the owner Nabel and his brother treated my friend and I like their daughters. I loved waking up in the morning to have breakfast and hanging out after a day of tours in the main sitting area talking stories with them. My first trip to Egypt and I loved...

this 10th floor b&b is great in that it is central, in a safe neighborhood (across from the police headquarters !!), with restaurants nearby, and the egyptian museum, the metro, and tahrir square a short walk. the breakfast is so so but it is a delight to sit and eat it looking out over the city. the owner will make...

We stayed here for 2 nights. Very difficult to find. But once found easy to see why. Walking distance from tahrir square and cairo museum. Breakfast was simple and good. Room were clean with good air conditioning. Just for note, they request payment upfront not on check out. They only accept cash and that only in US dollars or egyptian...

This was our base camp in Egypt. Nabil helped us with all our arrangements, breakfast was great. He offered the kids hot chocolate and hot milk, which was very appreciated each morning. Our guide at Giza (Hamdi) was awesome. Room was spacious.

This hotel has to be the best kept secret in Cairo. It is centrally located on the 12th floor of a corner building about 10 minutes walk from Tahrir square. From the square take Mohamed Mahmoud Street (Hardee’s is on the corner) and look for the 4th street on your right. Keep looking up and you will see the hotel...

This very well looked after place is a gem in the middle of the hustle and bustle of daily life around it. It is on the 12th floor of a building so you are lifted high above the streets and offered the most wonderful views towards the Nile, the Cairo Tower or from the other side, the Citadel. Can be...

Osiris Hotel is a really comfortable and beautiful hotel on the 12th floor of a building in Cairo. It is located near the city center (Tahrir Square) and has an excellent view of the city! The rooms are also very spacious, with a nice bathroom and a large outdoor balcony/patio area where breakfast is served and where you will be...

The location was quite nice, in a quite street approx. 500 meters from Taksim Square. The room was nice and the breakfast was quite basic but one should mention the hand-made omlettes. The atmosphere is layed-back and the staff is real nice. In my opinion the biggest plus is Habil, who provides you with information how to get around or...
