Friendly staff and the owner very cordial!
When I checked in I read some negative reviews about the hotel that had scared me, but I bought SAYING that it was an economical hotel, if you buy SAYING that I bet you will not regret. View from the rooftop is very top! Cost benefit 10 for me that I stayed only 3 nights was very good, I recommend in this matter, large clean rooms and airy, really they do not put soap and shampoo but I always take mine so nothing that bothered me. They were very cordial from arrival to departure! He really asks me to evaluate the place on trip advisor and on google as the other guests spoke in the negative reviews, but at no time he was rude or bullied me. It was quite quiet., and gave me gift papers for the evaluation.

While traveling alone in Egypt, I stayed in a Best View Pyramids Hotel suite for 10 days. (Free pick-up from the airport is also provided). I was traveling to Lonja as a woman and felt really safe and all the staff were very friendly. Communication (in English) was also very easy. A perfect place for traveling alone. Even though I came as a tourist, it felt like home town. The suite room was very clean and comfortable, and the pyramid view was perfect. The breakfast was so delicious and plentiful, and even the view was perfect, so it was just perfect. I stayed in a Deluxe king suite with pyramids view room, and there was a jacuzzi in the room, so I was able to relax while looking at the pyramids and Sphinx every day. You can see the pyramid light show at the rooftop bar and the sunrise and sunset every day from your room. A place so amazing you don't even have to leave your room! Reception is open 24 hours a day and you always feel welcome. The staff are always smiling and the service is truly the best! (The best place to meditate.) You can feel the energy of the pyramid! I recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Egypt from Korea!

*If you want a pyramid tour or activities within the pyramids, you can contact the hotel to arrange it (at a very reasonable price).

When I arrived in Cairo at the hotel I was going to stay in, it was not at all what the photos looked like, so I left and found the Best View Pyramids Hotel instead. It was definitely the right move! They were welcoming and showed me the different rooms available. One of them was the Deluxe King Suite, which had a hot tub with a stunning view over the pyramids. Since I am traveling solo for an extended period of time, I opted for one of their single rooms, which was excellent value for the money, but the King Suite would be perfect for couples.

The hotel is one of the tallest buildings in the neighborhood and has a rooftop restaurant and bar that serves alcohol. The sunsets from the roof are incredible, and it’s a great way to watch the light show on the pyramids for free.

It is also very conveniently located, only a short three-minute walk to the Giza Pyramid ticket office, KFC/Pizza Hut (if you want to take the photo of the pyramids with the Pizza Hut logo), and a no fee ATM.

The reception is open 24 hours, they speak very good English, and the hotel clearly values security with safes in the rooms and sturdy locks on the doors (which is surprisingly hard to find).

The staff work hard to make the guests feel well looked after, and the owner, Adam, is always available. He invited me several times for coffee, and he even shared his lunch with me.

I highly recommend the Best View Pyramids Hotel. It is an oasis of calm and comfort.

I was really surprised with all the positive reviews compared to our own experience. The check-in was efficient and friendly, a good start. The views from the roof are good but not the best; there are other hotels with equal or better views due to the buildings and cell towers between the hotel and the pyramids complex. Our room was clean and looked like the pictures. It had a small balcony facing the street and one of the biggest problems was the noise at night - slamming doors, loud voices, motorcycles, barking dogs and wailing cats. We had arrived at about 9:30-10 PM. After settling in, the noise just did not stop. We asked to change rooms but the person at the desk did not understand what we wanted. The noise continued till about 2:30 and at 5:30 the call to prayer started.

The breakfast was a very simple buffet, mostly stewed vegetables, but no eggs or cheeses. We asked to be put in contact with a local guide for a half day tour of the pyramids. A guy came in the morning and asked 9000 Egyptian pounds for the tour. We had only the one half day so we reluctantly said yes. He walked us to the pyramid complex where we paid for our own tickets. He accompanied us in a horse drawn carriage to the visit point where we we given a short camel ride. The guide did not have much info to share just the size and age of the pyramids. He then took us to a perfume shop to buy expensive local scents. At the end, he asked if we were happy and we were happy the tour was over. For what we paid, we expected at least to go to Saqqara and eat lunch in a local restaurant.

When checking out, I mentioned the noise to the manager who asked me emphatically not to write a negative review. He had all sorts of excuses, like new dog in town upsetting the others. I considered leaving no review at all, but a young couple came in, had lots of questions, and he was not 100% honest with them and gave them the room we had the night before. This area in Giza is known for its budget accommodations and location close to the pyramids, but we left feeling like we had been ripped off. The owner of the hotel with likely respond with his own story.

Worst hotel ever, I stayed there for 6 days and not a single time cleaned my room - you can see in attached pictures, I went there on 21st of September 2024, the owner offered me free ride from airport to hotel but the driver charged me 1000 Egyptian pounds in the name of Tip, which way more than Uber charges. So don’t accept it, then I went there and owner started to scream on me as he wanted me to book a tour with him but I said I am here only for rest.. then I booked tour as he was screaming, I wanted to cancel booking but I couldn’t as cancellation period was finish. Then I took rest on 22nd of sept. On 23rd of sept driver and I went for trip (I booked tour guide and lunch ) but I wasn’t provided and for that one there charges were $60 and there rates were 40 Egyptian pounds against 1$ , where everywhere 48 Egyptian pounds against 1$. So I blasted on driver then he told me at Sakkara, Egypt that he hired tour guide for me and I need to pay him $60. When I said that I paid for tour guide and lunch , he told me that hotel owner made everyone to pay but not providing proper service and he asked for tip then I paid 100 Egyptian pounds, then I reached hotel and I complained about it, they said the driver was tour guide as well, as he didn’t give you tour, so will give you pasta in dinner which was not good at all. Then after I haven’t asked for anything but when I was leaving from hotel on 26th of September 2024, the owner of the hotel started to beg me to give him 5 start on reviews. After being victim of scam , I am not able to write anything good about that hotel. Even my parents never scream on me if I did anything wrong but this person did and I was helpless as a solo female traveler.

Please never and go to visit this hotel. You can see in pictures that I was living with cockroaches. It’s not good for your mental and physical health. Everything you can see in pictures. Even freeze got fungus as well. You can see in attached pictures. Also I have attached picture of my room key so I can show that I was staying 6 days in that terrible hotel. Desk staff was really nice but clearing staff didn’t want anything to do and always begging for money in the name of Tip.

We stayed at this hotel for one night while on a tour around Cairo and Giza. We booked a twin room as we are 2 gay guys and thought it best to book a twin but we were given a room with a double and a single bed so it worked out ok.

The hotel is right in the middle of the surrounding hotels and is near the horse and camel stables so can be a bit smelly from the rooftop which has an amazing view of the pyramids. Our guide advised us to be careful if we left the hotel as there would be lots of people hassling us so we just stayed indoors and only left when our driver came back to pick us up.

The room was clean enough and the bed was super comfy and the AC worked. We returned from a Nile River Cruise and we had no water but within 10-15 mins and a call to reception they fixed the issue.

On the morning of our departure we were being picked up at 8am and so we went up to the restaurant at 7:30am as soon as breakfast started and told the staff we only had 20 mins for breakfast due to our pickup. We were served coffee quickly but by 7:55am the food still had not arrived so we ended up leaving early to make our tour. Not good having to start the day hungry.

We had only booked this hotel as we thought our tour would do the pyramids on the second day and so we wanted to be close to them however the guide shuffled the tour around and we did the pyramids on arrival on our first day to avoid the heat.

I probably wouldn't stay here again unless you absolutely need to be in the area or you desperately want a view of the pyramids from the rooftop. I'd probably stay in a hotel downtown instead where there's nicer places nearby for dinner. We only paid about £20 for the twin room though so for value for money it was perfectly fine for one night.

We stayed in the property around the end of August, traveling with my girlfriend. The structure is in good condition compared to its surroundings. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, if you haven't organized visits and excursions they will offer you things to do in Cairo but at decidedly crazy prices compared to what you might find. The included breakfast offers typical dishes (I think) and also for lunch or dinner you can taste very good dishes. The hotel has a view of the pyramids worthy of the name it bears but at the end of the day it is the only 5-star thing in that place. Dirty rooms, strange smells are everywhere, the reviews are "incited" by the owner of the property who sits there with you and checks what you write, "enticing" you to put 5 stars on any category. In the bathroom of our room we found dead insects in the tub and toothpaste on the sink, a clear sign that not even a mop had been wiped. I don't know what the other hotels are like in that area but if I were to return to Cairo I wouldn't stay there.

Hotel is located in small streets with 20 horses and around 8-10 camels.. it smells really bad and has a lot of noises. The view from the rooftop is AMAZING, staff very polite. The room smells really bad and isnt cleaned, there are stains everywhere and bedsheets was dirty.. there were NO SOAP in the room. When we asked for soap to wash our hands and shower they said they would bring but never brought it… they tried to charge us 900egp for a trip that on Uber cost only 135egp. Free transport from hotel was a very nice gesture. Lentil soup very tasty.
we stayed only 1 of the 2 booked nights.

I flew in from TX. The hotel arranged to have me picked up (free) outside the terminal. My flight arrived more than an hour late, but the driver (Mohammed) waited for me until almost midnight. On the drive to the hotel he gave me a tour of Cairo as we drove along the highway. Very friendly guy! It was nice to feel welcome when first arriving in a new country for the first time.

The room was clean and tidy. The bed was firm and the comforter kept me at the perfect temp to let me sleep after such a long flight.

After the tour of my room I was taken up to the rooftop. The view of the pyramids was breathtaking, their silhouettes dark against the night sky.

Rooms are very reasonably priced, especially considering their proximity to the Pyramids. The ticket booth for the Giza plateau is literally less than 5 min away by foot.

The hotel staff are all very kind and welcoming. It’s best to book your tours through the hotel to avoid dealing with outside folks, many of whom will try to overcharge you.

Breakfast is served on the rooftop cafe, which has a stunning view of the pyramids and Sphinx. It’s a spectacular way to watch the sunrise. Scrambled eggs with vegetables, shishkebab, potatoes, falafel, fresh fruits, baked goods, cheese, etc. The spread of food was impressive, especially considering it was free!

Someone from the staff always asked if I needed anything each time I returned to the lobby during my stay. It clearly matters to them in a genuine way that people enjoy their stay.

I was originally only planning to stay here two nights, but booked an additional two nights, just because it was such a great place.

Check out the panoramic picture of the pyramids below. I can’t imagine there’s a better view of them in Giza.

If you’re someone who enjoys meditating, like me, the rooftop is reserved for private mediation from sunset to sunrise. It’s a magical experience.

The best bet is never find out and avoid it. The view is great. Everything else is terrible and expensive. Go to a better place near here for the same or less cost. However, if you have a passion for warm over priced beer that takes 30 minutes per can to be ordered, this is the place for you!

Based upon my experience it is available 24/7. I arrived at 1am. The bar had already “closed.” BUT hotel staff took me to the rooftop so I could see the pyramids for the first time. I was then offered a beer which I gladly accepted. I sat up there until nearly 2am enjoying the spectacular view. In short, the hotel STAFF ARE VERY ACCOMMODATING and flexible.
