We stayed there 4 nights in November. The rooms in the fifth floor were good and clean, good breakfast and the hotel had a local feel. Many Egyptean's in it. The streets outside are quite unattrative and dirty but local restaurants and shops are available .

I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of October 2011 at the end of my Intrepid tour, and loved every moment! The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable, with a flat screen tv and fridge. The cleanliness and quality of the towels and sheets was very good. Breakfast was included, and had the usual range of items...

The staff were very friendly and helpful with information on local hot spots and resources. Very clean, good location and good security. Special thanks to George for making my stay so easy and comfortable.

We stayed a total of 2 separate nights here on a recent vacation to Egypt. My partner and I booked our Egypt trip through Gap Adventures, and they assigned this hotel to us for our one night, 2 day stay in Cairo. At first we were a little skeptical about the hotel based on the reviews on here, but we...

We stayed 2-nights in this hotel. It had been recommended by our tour company but the price seemed low and I was a bit wary about what to expect. I found our room to be well-kept, clean & tidy. Furnishings were simple but functional; a small table and 2-chairs, small balcony, 2-single beds with wonderful Egyptian cotton sheets that were...

Breakfast was very ordinary and the communication was poor between the staff. Room service was horrible and we were not offered a refund once we made our comments to reception. The hotel is not really near anything and there is an abundance of strange men who hang outside the hotel that pretend to be your friend and help you out...

Walking distance to the Cairo Museum. Roof top restaurant has some nice views of Cairo. One street away, are fast food and small shops. Service was good but rooms are average. Be aware of touts further up the street near the bridge.

Not great. But OK you can do a lot worse in Cairo. Location: Bad. Rooms vary greatly so ask to see the room your booking before you book if you can. We stayed here a couple of times on a tour and had very different rooms each time. Breakfast was standard Egyptian continental. To my understanding all rooms have a...

You must remember this is North Africa! Simple, Clean, Friendly. George behind reception is AWESOME! Anything we needed he did. He went out of his way to make everyone relax. I have been reading reviews about the hot water. Well after I let the water run for 5 mins or so... It got hot :) I would go back to...

The hotel is for a travel around a good place to be. The breakfast is good and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean but simply. There is also a good restaurant. The persons behind the reception are very nice and helpful. We had a problem with our journey but it was not a problem to stay longer....
