My partner and I stayed twice at this hotel in October 08, at the begining and end of our tour to Egypt. The first room was very old and dated but had a excellent view of the Nile. The second room was not as dated but was at the back of hotel with no view. The bed was very comfy...

After reading some of the reviews on here, I have to say I was prepared for the worst. But it really wasn't that bad! Stayed here for a few nights before my Geckos tour in December. The hotel was clean and the staff were relatively friendly (though that's because they're all on the lookout for a tip). Breakfast was pretty...

This place is terrible. The phones didn't work, the satellite was pirated and would switch channels in the middle, the sheets were filthy, and the service was awful. There are vulture taxi drivers who hang out just outside the hotel. I have lived in cairo for many months and this place was overpriced and disgusting. Don't stay here.

During our recent visit to Cairo, Egypt we decided to spend two days at Pharaoh's Hotel to celebrate our first anniversary before moving on with our trip. We had booked the room through Air Arabia website and paid the full amount in advance. We even called 3 days before to confirm our booking and were given the confirmation. However, when...
