Very nice place , well located in the city on the corniche, friendly staff, Nile view very clean rooms and good breakfast. To recommend if you are looking for a middle class place. No restaurant but many are located around the hotel within 10mn walk.

We stayed here for one night before joining a cruise. It's situated on the waterfront with superb views. Very clean, lots of hot water and good internet. Only problem, the tourist souk is up behind the hotel and it's very busy. Also, there are not many places to eat immediately around the hotel.....you need to be thre for longer than... More

The hotel in conveniently located but is very basic. The staff are nice, Mohammed and Sara, very attentive. The room is ok. The bathroom has a window overlooking the bedroom which I found very uncomfortable. Good amenities like toothbrushes and toothpaste as well as a platter with biscuits upon arrival. Breakfast is poor. The lady that serves breakfast does not... More

I chose this hotel based on all the great reviews and am confused about the difference between their stays and ours. The room was ok. The furniture which had been described as "amazing local carved furniture" in out guidebook was actually beat up furniture with lion head pulls. It was solid, but was scratched and could use a good cleaning.... More

We stayed at the Philae hotel for one night before our flight back to the UK. It was a very central hotel, with a nice view of the Nile. The beds were comfortable, the room very clean and we weren't disturbed by street noise. The staff were extremely helpful, helped us to organise a dinner at the Old Cataract Hotel... More

I came to this hotel based on the great reviews (!), but now I've been I'm not sure I understand them. I have travelled throughout Egypt and Aswan rooms seem to be more expensive than the rest of Egypt, but charging $60 pn for what a pretty standard 3 star hotel is ridiculous. The room was nice but small. As... More

I liked the location, but the room was very basic and the TV didn't really work (not that I planned on watching much anyway). In addition, there is no elevator, and when I arrived there was no one to help me with my heavy luggage as only a petite receptionist was on staff. At check out time, there was no... More

This place was great. Our room had air-conditioning and a balcony with Nile views. Aswan is very beautiful so the view was great and the location was excellent. The room was super clean and modern, and everything worked the way it was supposed to :). The bed was really comfy and the shower was great. We had read good things... More

The location is just a 5 minute drive from Aswan station and it is located right by the Nile, so if you book a riverside room you can get a great view of it. The room is comfy and the staff are nice and friendly. They accidentally overcharged me because of misunderstanding, but they returned the money right away after... More

The reviews were great, but, to be honest, i was not at all impressed. The staff is great...i have to admit that, but the hotel is pretty basic. The rooms are small, they have a balcony with view to the Nile (that's what we booked), clean. Unfortunately, you cannot keep the door of the balcony open. The air is unbearable... More
