#71 of 479 B&Bs / Inns in Nairobi
This quiet homestay is 10-15 minutes away from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. It is very convenient for both business and leisure travelers; it is close to the Nairobi Central Business District, Nairobi National Park and Giraffe center. The property is wheelchair accessible and situated behind the Nakumatt Embakasi shopping mall. We have 24/7 security. They are 3 bedroom apartments, each bedroom has a private bathroom and the guests from each room shares a common lounge and open kitchen. At the moment in this location we manage two houses that brings it to about 6 bedrooms that we let out. The floors are served by an elevator. There is a standby residence manager to welcome you, run your errands and prepare your hot meals. There is also a standby car that does airport pick up and dropping, also you can hire at an affordable fee to move around.

We looked for a good and not too expencive place to stay a night near NBO airport and ended up to Bethel Xperience. It really was a good experience. Compared to accommodation conditions in Kenya in general, this place was clean, comfortable and trustable. Our host Enock served us very friendly and told us many interesting things about Kenya. It would have been nice to stay longer.

Bethel was a mixed bag of experiences. It was difficult to find - especially at night. While the development is new, the roads leading up to it is not, with potholes and huge cracks depending on which entrance you take. Our driver called Enoch several times and Enoch was responsive, and gave directions, however the roads surrounding the place posed a challenge. On arriving, a guard brought us up and on knocking the door, no one opened it. We subsequently waited 20 minutes at night after getting in from our flight, despite the owner knowing we were on the way. After the guard had disappeared in all that time, presumably to find someone to let us in, someone finally opened the door after all that knocking. I didn't get his name, but he wasn't Enoch and wasn't very communicative. It turns out he was a guest staying in the same apartment - this was unclear during the booking processz The apartment was as pictured; seemed to have three or four rooms (we occupied the two with connecting bathrooms). Bedrooms were okay, mattress was comfortable but pillows were a bit old and lumpy. Bathrooms were reasonably clean, but only one towel was provided per bathroom (2 towels between 4 travelers). Water pressure was good in one bathroom and poor in the other, and while the hot water was responsive, there was no clear way of controlling the water temperature as there was only one tap. There were also no bins in the bathroom. Advertised to come with bottled water and breakfast, but it was not provided. WiFi worked reasonably well, dropped occasionally but functional for the most part. A bit later a gentleman called ?Don came and apologized for the wait. I assume he helped co-run the apartment. Don brought some bread for us to have for breakfast later after I asked about the offer. We had previously organized to have dinner provided as well, which we were supposed to pay for, but on arrival that was not available either. The kettle did not work so we did not have water to drink that night. There was a stove which did not work, and although Don went out to change the gas, we were too tired and already fell asleep from the flight so have no idea if the gas had been changed at all. The apartment is in a residential area and run most likely as a homestay. Unfortunately our experience was less than ideal, and definitely did not provide what was expected. We did not meet the manager/owner Enoch at all.

I stumbled upon this place during my trip to Kenya while in need of an affordable place to stay close to the airport. The owner was very willing to assist with the Uber driver to find the place, which is a new and well built apartment in the outskirts of Nairobi. We were greeted by a lady who is in charge of the place and were pleasantly greeted with a cup of coffee or tee or a soda and the question what she can prepare for us for dinner. Anything would go! We enjoyed a perfect meal that evening and had a god nights rest. Next day a great breakfast was served with as only point of attention that there was no real coffee, only Nescafe. Oh, and the wifi is free and speedy!

I was suprised to find a nice accomodation like that in Nairobi. It is closed to the airport and the driver was also reliable.Enock organized everything well and was very helpful. The house was very cleaned and I felt very comfortable. We talked also nice and he gave me also company to the shopping center and we enjoyed a small dinner outside. I stayed there only few hours because my flight was going in the night and unfortunetly I couldn't enjoy breakfast with him. I definetly recommend this place .

Thank you so much, I remember you were very wonderful guest, welcome again and we are blessed with another new location from where you can see into the Nairobi national park. At the park you can be lucky to see a new family of rhinos moved to this park and they are quite energetic. Also you will love the view of the sun going down as giraffes and zebras move around! Welcome again and greetings!

I came to Enocks place in the beginning of January, to stay for the night on my way home. As you might know hospitality is an important part of the Kenyan culture, but Enock really outshines all the others. It is a great place to stay, and not just because of the wonderful host. The rooms are also great. Clean, big and have an own bathroom and toilet The beds are very good and there is enough space for your luggage. No airport noises, but still close to the airport.
