We stayed at Tribe our first week in Nairobi. (Actually, my husband arrived a few days earlier.) We were two people with a lot of luggage (because we're moved here) so the room was a little tight for us. Other than that, it was perfect. (And even that was more a situational element and not an issue with the hotel.)...

After a mid week wedding, and due to my brides work demands needed a quite, serene gate away that wasn't too far from the city. This happened to be an excellent choice. The welcome was great, the proximity to village market allowed us to shop for household items. Only downside for us was, the welcome note in our room was...

From friends who stayed and one dinner visit, I found the service not to my liking. In july, on our last week in Kenya, my husband & I stayed there for convenience. The hotel is a boutique hotel, expensive & where service is not to one's satisfaction, I will not blame it on managgement. I still believe that good staff...

The Tribe Hotel is a trendy boutique-hotel glamour styled in the dream of Kenya's culture and nature. It is sleek, sexy, cosmopolitan and luxurious at every turn, and is very secure, with a very private access, 24 hour security, and with neighbors such as the UN Mission and US Embassy. Honeymoon: They surprised us with a complimentary bottle of champagne...

Stayed 5 days here during a business trip. Loved it's proximity to the Village Market which made it easier to shop. Food was good, no complaints there. Rooms were not bad. Staff, friendly and courteous. The overall ambience was perfect for me. Will definitely go back!!!!

In my second stay at the Tribe Hotel in Nairobi (before and after a safari in the Masai Mara), I was again impressed by the location -- immediately adjacent to the Village Market shopping center -- the look and feel of the place (contemporary and stylish with a nice "vibe") and the friendly and customer service-oriented staff. I am a...

I have stayed in Nairobi on business a number of times and at a range of locations over the years. I was in what I learned was a deluxe room on the 0 level. They made a lovely gesture with chocolates for my birthday. Bar area nice as was the breakfast buffet.
