Our most recent stay was in November of 2014. I cannot say enough great things about the Gracehouse. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating. The grounds are safe and very well protected. The on-site breakfast and dinners were delicious and the afternoon tea/coffee and snacks were delightful. The beds were comfortable; supplied with mosquito netting. Rooms are clean and...

Have been here for a number of meetings. The hotel is located near the bus stage at yaya centre. If driving the entrance is on Chania road and if walking there is a gate u can use on Ring road, Kilimani. One can visit Yaya Centre and Nakumatt prestige as they are nearby. The hotel has lots of green around...

Location, price, staff and room size make this small hotel a good find. The staff could not have been more helpful. True, the room was a little tired, but it was large and had everything needed in it. Free wifi another bonus, as was the sitting room outside the door with coffee and tea-making facilities, and the free morning and...

This hotel is surprisingly cheap for Nairobi, yet it includes a free breakfast which could keep you going for hours! Many rooms have twin beds for a group where people are willing to share, the price is amazingly low. As others have commented, it is well placed next to the Yaya centre, with a back path leading to it. It...

The hotel is very basic but the courtesy and friendliness of the staff is outstanding. They are helpful and very accomodating. Rooms are modest but are kept exceptionally clean. Wi-fi decent. Another advantage is the location right next to Yaya shopping mall so even ifyou are not mobile you can dash to the shops for whatever necessities you need. Best...

I stayed at Gracehouse for a couple of weeks in February 2014. The hotel itself is basic, and not at all lush or fancy. It was however, a very comfortable place to be. The staff is very friendly. Sometimes the receptionists seemed a bit abrupt, but I'm assuming it boils down to general misunderstanding. Breakfast was always such a pleasure;...

I stayed in this small hotel (51 rooms) for 5 nights in early June 2014 and had a wonderful experience. Right from the start when booking I received excellent emails and information - often within minutes of requesting it. The staff were ALL consistently helpful and welcoming. Nothing was a problem. There are two sides to the hotel. I stayed...

Our group has used Gracehouse for many years and have always been treated well. Rooms are ample and attached to public sitting rooms. Breakfast is fine. Front desk service is thoughtful and caring. Nairobi is expensive lodging so singles are 80USD but growing YaYa center is 3 minutes walk with decent eateries (oddly clumped into Ya Ya Center reviews by...

Wow!!!! This is the best hotel I can say under the budget. The hotel is very accommodative, very well secure, very friendly reception, prompt action by staff, good breakfast, free evening tea and snacks. In addition al the above, a minute walk to a shopping mall which is Yaya Center just behind the hotel. What more you want?

It has a very homely feeling. A sitting area for every 3-4 rooms. Offer good snacks throughout the day. Being a Jain I was specially offered eggless vegetarian food. The rooms were also clean and spacious. The washrooms were small but smartly built. Overall I would definitely recommend this!
