I stayed for a night, the rooms are clean. However i didn't like the dinner, it wasn't tasty at all,yet i paid good money for the meal. The breakfast was okay. The hotel is located in a noisy area near a bus stage, it is nice if you are on transit.

I especially liked the rooms are locked by cards, not keys. Once you leave your room during a day, it is advisable to leave it at the reception. It made me feel safe about my belongings in the room. There is a private safe in the room, which is great. You can pay with a debit card here, which is... More

This was our second visit to the Paris. A clean, safe hotel with friendly staff. Mozzie nets over the beds a plus. Very basic by Western standards but certainly served it's purpose for a cheap bed for the night. Will use again when next in Nairobi

The fact that its associated with Silver springs hotel....you expect more ! To my shock its actually just not what it seems. The front desk agents are just dull and not ready to be helpful...The rooms are dull and not clean ...to my shock i got to see several cockroaches and i can only assume more of the bugs....the safes do... We were dismayed by the all negatives of this hotel. The location was scarey (and we are not timid), the entrance was a hole-in-the-wall, as was the desk, there was no elevator, so we had to lug our baggage up four narrow flights of stairs, and the room we awful: small, no ventilation (windowless), claustrophobic, dirty and noisy - there... Has the basics and a passable restaurant. Good check-in staff at the front desk and security person. Has a shower with point of use water heating - worked OK. Toilet and Shower are in the same compartment and the sink is in the sleeping room. Breakfast was included in my rate and was OK. Small charge for breakfast in the... More

We needed a place to stay before starting our safari. I checked the internet and found prices seemed quite expensive in Nairobi and finally settled on Paris knowing that this was a "budget" option, but I have had satisfaction with budget options in the past. We arrived just after midnight from 26 hours of flight, but the forewarned staff were... More

Compared to the other hotel where I stay in Nairobi, I LOVE this hotel. The bathroom is the BEST. The shower is better than other places, as well as the toilet and sink areas. And this hotel is only a few dollars more than the other place. Each room has mosquito nets and a safe. However, BOTH times I've stayed... More

Having been told to avoid this hotel, we came to look at it after spending one expensive night elsewhere. We were pleasantly surprised and spent the rest of the week there. No air conditioning, but a fan arrived immediately and the room was clean, spacious and comfortable ... which is just as well, since there is not very much of... More
