This wasn't my choice of a hotel. But I loved it. It's one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Nairobi. My flight was cancelled and we had to be sorted out into hotels. It was almost three in the morning when we got...More

Pleasantly surprised by the size of room and amenities. Staff all extremely helpful and friendly. But I wasn't really impressed by the setup, the reception area, the quality of breakfast, poor guidance relating to room service in the in-room documentation. And it does smell musty....More

The hotel is expensive for what it offers. The staff is very helpful, yet the facilities were worn. It was alright to spend one night as we were transferring to Mara the following day. From what was observed from the hotel, the game drive area...More

You will not find piki piki's at the airport as those are not allowed to enter. With 6 hours to go and given the distance to the Panari, you should be able to make it. Decide for yourself if you wish to have your baggage checked through - I suppose you will use Kenya Airways for the two flights or just have it checked to Nairobi first, get it from the domestic terminal and then check in again. Remember please you need to be at the airport again two hours before departure which leaves you at best 2 1/2 hours given the arrival wait for the bags off the Kisumu flight and the trip to and from the Panari. Hope this helps.
