We didn't stay here but went swimming in the very clean 25m pool. Very good albeit unheated :-) The food is good after a swim and the service is friendly. All in all, if you want a swim in Nairobi, in a quiet, clean, large pool, this is the place to go. KES 500 Adults, KES 300 Kids

A poolside breakfast brainstorming meeting in the morning Nairobi sun is a perfect way to start a day. This was my experience at this wonderful guest house and the breakfast was NOT disappointing!!! Save for the traffic of getting there from any of the major roads, it is worth the traffic you have to beat.

Stayed two nights at the Methodist Guest House. The accommodations are moderate. Not fancy. Somewhat old. But clean and safe. No air conditioning. Small beds. Small bathrooms. Good breakfast. Nice Staff. WiFi in lobby, but not in rooms. Unfortunately, they significantly raised their rates and in my opinion, this is no longer a good deal. There are better hotels for...

We stayed here for a mission trip to Korogocho. It is dated but clean. The food is good but pretty much the same thing every night. The shower in my room had good pressure and good temperature control but other people on my trip had problems with the water in their room being too hot to shower and they were...

Loved everything about the Methodist Guest House. From check in to check out,the front office staff are amazing, loved the food and their service. The environment is quiet, away from the hustle bustle of the city. There is a salon and a pool.No need to go outside the compound to look for a salon. It's near the road so none can get lost. There is a church...

Pleasant place to stay. Comfortable beds, shower with hot water and good pressure (room 225 has a bad shower, but 201 is great). Walls are thin, so bring earplugs. Really nice staff. The place is very dated, but in good, clean condition. Really nice staff. Very far from airport, not within walking distance to any food markets.

I stayed here for 6 nights in March. My room did not have air condition, but the bellman brought a fan which I got to keep for my entire stay. Please note that you will sleep under a mosquito net, which didn't cause me any problems once I learned to use it. The wifi usually worked well, although slowly. It...

MGH is nothing special - rooms are fine, though dated along with decor. It is somewhat of a labyrinth, so easy to get lost. Internet is ok, but don't expect to Skype on it. It's strictly no smoking (even in the car park) which seemed overkill. Breakfast is varied and plentiful and does the job, but inside and lacking in...

I took some time to be with family this past weekend and went to for a swim at this pool following a friend's recommendation. The pool was full and seemed not to have been cleaned that day. They don't have attendants to attend to young children. As a parent, you have to jump into the pool and watch over your children....

Staying at the Methodist Guest House was a wonderful way to begin our visit in Kenya. We arrived late at night, exhausted after 24+ hours of travel. Our room was small and welcoming. After a refreshingly cool shower, we opened the window to let the cool nighttime air in our room, and settled quickly into our comfortable beds under mosquito...
