This is a lovely camp. This was my second stay. The tented rooms are spacious, comfortable and attractive. Especially like the etched glass in the doors. Great views also. Staff is excellent and will help in any way. Christine, Grace, John, Wilson et al. will go out of their way for you. Food is plentiful and delicious. Chef James and...

Was here for the Great Migration August 2014. The Mara reserve is just 10 mins away. They have good accommodation, all of them are tents, but not to worry as they are well equipped with modern facilities. The bedding is so cosy you almost go off to sleep the minute you slide in. The restaurant is a 2 min walk...

The food is excellent especially the pancakes in the morning! We requested a vegetarian menu and the chef was generous and kind to serve us delicious meals. We had a bush dinner one night with amazing...

Seven members of our family stopped here for three days.We stayed in the chalets and we LOVED the whole experience so much.We immediately felt at home, loved and cared for by this remarkable staff. Here there are no electric fences to keep out the wild life. So exciting to be escorted by the Masai guards back and forth to our...

The lodge is located in a beautiful area, with the most amazing sunrises and sunsets overlooking the savannah! The staff and Maasai warriors were extremely nice and made sure that we were always comfortable and safe. We had an incredible experience there!

A lovely. peaceful retreat offering simple platform tents as well as platform tents fully outfitted with their own bathroom facilities and hot shower. I sat on my front porch and watched the wilderbeast cross not more than 50 feet in front of me. In the morning we watched the amazingly beautiful sunrise over the valley floor as a herd of...

The location on the escarpment above the Masai Mara Park is stunning. I stayed in one of the tent/bungalows on the edge of the escarpment. It had a large veranda - with comfortable chairs and table for relaxing in the evening - overlooking the park. The room had two queen size beds, upholstered chairs, a small desk, a large bathroom...

Mara West was our last stay on our 2 week Kenya Tanzania Safari. First let me say that Mara West sponsors several schools and a clinic and coordinate with "Pack with a Purpose". If you can manage it, save room in your luggage to bring school and clinic supplies that you can find listed on the Pack with a Purpose...
