Karen Blixen camp is truly a wonderful camp. The location, service and experience is all amazing. All the tents are by the river with hippos as neighbors. Breakfast is served by the river with a view of antelopes, baboons and hippos. The food is prepared with fresh ingredients and well seasoned. The staff is kind and very service-minded. They are...

Graet location on the Mara River with a seemingly permanent herd of hippos on the opposite bank - picteresque with permant tent luxury accommodation with outside bathrooms Food and service was top class. The daily safaris were the highlight - this is the place to see animals - a herd of 30+ giraffe crossing the river, 200+ zebras as well...

Staying at Karen Blixen camp was fantastic. Sitting outside watching all the hippos and other animals coming to drink every day was great. The food was good and the tents was a good combination of luxury, but also the feeling of sleeping outdoors. The staff was great and made us feel welcome all the time. Our guide, David had a...

Great location with a view of the hippos and other animals on the river. Transport to and from the airstrip was easy. Private tents that we describe as "glamping" - camping luxuriously. Our room was set with 2 twin beds, a lounger, chair, desk, drawers to unpack, Short driving distance to multiple wildlife opportunities - we saw 17 lions, lots...

This is the most impressive safari lodge I have visited! Sitting next to the Mara river in front of the restaurant you can see all kinds of animals drinking from the river. The safari area has a lot of animals including all the big cats. There is plenty of space in the safari area so you wont meet queues of...

Very kind welcome to the Camp by all staff who made us feel at home. Luxurious and clean tent with a view to the Mara river and the wild animals. We enjoyed the high quality of all meals. Well organized guided safari tours with excellent guide who showed us lions, cheetahs, elephants etc. at close sight. High recommendations.

The staff at Karen Blixen Camp made us feel welcomed and safe from the moment we arrived. We were lucky enough to have Dave - our driver/guide - to ourselves for our whole stay, making our safari experience very personalised. Special moments at the camp include a picnic lunch in the bush, a surprise breakfast by the lake, a candlelit...

We ended our safari with three nights at Karen Blixen Camp. The location of this camp on a small rise above the Mara River means there is game viewing every time you look up. In addition to the resident herd of hippos in the water directly across from the dining area many other animals came to drink - elephants, a...

We spent 3 days at the camp for part of our honeymoon. Our guide and driver Jackson picked us up at the air strip and gave us an unforgettable 3 days in the Maasai Mara. We saw our first lion 10 minutes in and we parked 5 meters away. Didn't think we would see the animals this close. At the...
