I will start with the good. The food was good and varied. It's all buffet style. Now for the rest of it. The location is inside the park, but you have to go quite a ways slowly through a village and past the main gate to begin to get to any game viewing. You are a long distance from the...

Recently visited masai mara and stayed in this hotel for two nights. Whole facility is well located and is in side the bush, where there is no noise, no network no pollution, all natural experiance. Myself being vegeterian was a bit scared about food, but when reached there, to my surprise they had good vegeterian and asian dishes.

Stayed here for a night. The place is closer to Masai Mara gate. We reached by lunch time. Lunch hall is a big area with buffet served on one side so you don't bang into other people. Food is good. A lot of options for vegetarians including desserts. Their chef has been trained in an Indian restaurant so Indian will...

I became sick with gastroenteritis whilst staying here. It had to be their food as there is no where else to eat. Initially, the manager, Moses, appeared to want to help me. When the rest of my group arrived back from a days safari, which I had missed, he had a very different attitude. We were going home the next...

This is a good place to stay obviously keeping in mind they are "camps" so lights go out at certain times of day. There are no tv no wifi etc which I think is a good thing for a few days to escape from your daily routine. Just make sure to add to your budget besides the nights you pay...

We were taken to our tent after the long drive from Nairobi- with clouds and drizzle we were scared. The children were concerned that the leopards might find us there, particularly when the meandering pathways were dark- but the smiling guards took all the fear away. You get the experience of living far from urban life not deep in the...

Sentrim Mara is a comfortable stay. It has cottages for visitors. There is an outdoor pool, a souvenir shop, and a large hall where one can have one's meals. The hotel also provides the service of packing picnic lunches for people going on a safari who don't wish to disrupt their safari by coming back for lunch. There's no wifi,...

Spent three nights here while visiting Masai Mara. The road is very rough getting here but so is most of Masai Mara. The tents are very large. Our tent did not have a battery that worked for the inverter when the generator was off so we didn't have lights late at night or early in the morning. One night had...
