My tent was huge and tastefully furnished. Situated on the bank of the river it was magical to watch the numerous hippos and I loved listening to them at night. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Great attention to detail. Lovely food and a well stocked bar. My morning wake-up call delivered a flask of hot water so I...

We were lucky enough to stay as a couple while there was no-one else there! It was amazing! The staff are so friendly and helpful and the tents are lovely. Really happy with the experience. The Manager is absolutely hilarious and will make you feel welcome straight away.

We intentionally looking for tent/Camp accommodation instead of Hotel in Masai Mara. This camp basically covers all the requirement, not to mention it is just a few steps to get into the the Safari (we are separated only by the small river) There are 7 tents/camp with restaurant in the center. We are happy with the camp, which also provide...

A fun experience – hearing hippos wandering around at night! Very friendly staff and a great location for exploring the Masai Mara. Lovely en suite tented accommodation – solar lights, but no power sockets or wi fi in the tents – they have a charging area in the dining area. You won’t be allowed to wander about by yourself after...

From the moment we arrived, Cyrus and his staff made us feel at home. While not five-star luxury, the tent was clean and comfortable, the showers were hot and the service was outstanding. Kudos to the kitchen staff for being able to prepare such hearty and delicious meals being so far from civilization. The camp’s location is just steps from...

I just came back from spending 2 nights at mara eden safari camp and I am pleased to say that it was most enjoyable. Now if you want luxury this is not particularly the right place although the beds are very comfortable and the piping hot showers are brilliant, you are in the bush which means there is animals around...

The staff was great. Lovely service!! Food made on order but made really great. The scenary around the place was heartwarming! If lucky...

It was such an amazing experience staying in Mara Eden while on safari with my clients. Cyrus and his team were fantastic, and they made the experience even more memorable. From Cyrus meeting us and guiding us to the camp, the location on the banks of the great Mara river, tasty food, peace, quiet and the feeling of being out...

Stayed here during the migration as located right on the Mara river. Although we didn't see crossings from the camp, the sight and close proximity of the numerous hippos more than made up for it. The sights from our tents were stunning and we witnessed a crossing only a short drive away. Along with the hippos, we also heard lions...

Cyrus and his entire crew made me feel at home and relaxed! I was traveling alone as a single woman and they were considerate, attentive and protective!! Setting is fantastic on the Mara river and the opportunity to sleep with the sounds of hippos and lions in the background was a once in a lifetime experience!! I highly recommend them.

“Take a good torch and spare batteries. A wind up torch would also be a good idea for emergencies.”

“a couple of overall tips if you are looking at taking a safari in Africa is take more than 1 power transformer One of the biggest concerns we had was getting power to recharge our camera batteries. take a GOOD set of binoculares we had 1 really good set and 1 good set, wish we had take 2 really good sets, it is amazing how much more detail is seen on the various game animals, even though we were close, with the use of a really good set of binoculars. a decent range finder , used by bow hunters, would have been really useful to determine just how close or far we were from various game sitings, as people dont really believe how close you get take lots of goodies for the people We took colouring books and crayons for the children, flashlights, hats, and eye glasses for the adults. Left a bunch of the books at an orphanage, gave the rest out to the staff at various camps we stayed at for their families. This was appreciated actually more than cash.”
